Waste management. The following rules are based on the instructions in the Recycling and Waste Management Act (KrW/AbfG), on the related regulations and ordinances on implementation, notably the Commercial Waste Directive, and on re- gional state laws and local government by-laws. The exhibitor / organiser is responsible for ensuring that any waste produced during construction and dismantling of the stand and during the exhibition itself is disposed of in a proper and ecologically compatible way. The exhibitor / organiser is deemed the producer of this waste.

Waste management. The following regulations are based on the provisions of the German Law on Life Cycle Management (KrWG), along with the associated implementation rules and ordinances, notably the Commercial Waste Directive, and the state laws and municipal by-laws. The exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that any waste that is generated during the set-up, running and dismantling of the stand is disposed of properly in an environmentally friendly manner. The exhibitor is considered to be the party that generates this waste. MESSE ESSEN GmbH and its designated contractors bear sole responsibility for the technical arrangements for recycling or disposal.
