A promotion definition

A promotion means a permanent vertical move to a higher paid classification and, similarly, a demotion means a permanent vertical move to a lower paid classification (see 8.07).
A promotion means a vertical move to a higher paid classification contained in this Agreement which will result in an increase in salary and similarly a demotion means a vertical move to a lower paid classification contained in this Agreement.

  • Licensed Products means tangible materials which, in the course of manufacture, use, sale, or importation, would be within the scope of one or more claims of the Licensed Patent Rights that have not been held unpatentable, invalid or unenforceable by an unappealed or unappealable judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Sexual exploitation means any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust for sexual purposes. It includes profiting monetarily, socially, or politically from sexual exploitation of another.

  • Collaborative pharmacy practice means a practice of pharmacy whereby one or more pharmacists have jointly agreed, on a voluntary basis, to work in conjunction with one or more practitioners under protocol whereby the pharmacist may perform certain pharmaceutical care functions authorized by the practitioner or practitioners under certain specified conditions or limitations.
