Active Collocation Space definition

Active Collocation Space means the space within a Sprint premises that has sufficient telecommunications infrastructure systems to house telecommunications equipment, which can be designated for physical collocation. Infrastructure systems include but are not limited to, floors capable of supporting equipment loads, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems (AC poser), high efficiency filtration, humidity controls, remote alarms, compartmentation and smoke purge. Space within controlled environmental vaults (CEVs), huts and cabinets and similar eligible structures that can be designated for physical collocation shall be considered Active Collocation Space.

Infrastructure systems includes floors capable of supporting equipment loads, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems (AC poser), high efficiency filtration, humidity controls, remote alarms, compartmentation and smoke purge. Space within controlled environmental vaults (CEVs), huts and cabinets and similar eligible structures that can be designated for physical collocation shall be considered Active Collocation Space.

Examples of Active Collocation Space in a sentence

  • The designation of Other (Inactive) Collocation Space is applicable to space within central offices only; other Eligible Structures such as CEVs, Huts, and Vaults are considered Active Collocation Space.

  • If the available space is not suitable for Central Office equipment (Inactive Space) and must be converted to Active Collocation Space, thirty (30) calendar days will be added to the provisioning interval to allow for the conversion process to be completed.

  • Space within CEVs, huts and cabinets and similar Eligible Structures that can be designated for Physical Collocation is considered to be Active Collocation Space.

  • These construction intervals for Cageless Collocation in Active Collocation Space in a CEV, Hut, or Cabinet Eligible Structure apply where the Collocator is requesting maximum DC power of fifty (50) amps (2-50 amp feeds).

  • For Cageless Collocation in Active Collocation Space in a CEV, Hut, or Cabinet Eligible Structure where a Collocator is requesting DC power greater than fifty (50) amps per feed, AT&T-13STATE will add thirty (30) calendar days to the provisioning interval.

  • Collocation Space means an area of space located in a Building to be used by CLEC to house telecommunications equipment. Additionally, roof or wall space used for wireless interconnection shall be included in the definition where applicable.
