Acute Care Psychiatric Hospital definition

Acute Care Psychiatric Hospital means a hospital or facility that provides 24 hours-a-day psychiatric, multi- disciplinary, inpatient or residential stabilization, care, and treatment.¶
Acute Care Psychiatric Hospital and “ACPH” each has the meaning provided for in OAR 309-019-01054F1 F.
Acute Care Psychiatric Hospital means a hospital that provides 24 hour-a-day psychiatric, multi-disciplinary, inpatient or residential stabilization, care and treatment, for adults ages 18 years of age or older with serious psychiatric disabilities.

  • Acute care means preventive care, primary care, and other medical care provided under the direction of a physician for a condition having a relatively short duration.

  • Emergency medical care provider means an individual who has been trained to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the first responder, EMT-basic, EMT-intermediate, EMT-paramedic, paramedic specialist or other certification levels recognized by the department before 1984 and who has been issued a certificate by the department.

  • Health care provider or "provider" means:
