Affected People means the persons specified in sub rule 2 of rule 21.

• The Supplier shall regularly monitor the internal processes as well as the Technical and organizational measures to ensure that the processing in his area of responsibility is executed in accordance with the requirements of the applicable data protection law and that the rights of the Affected People are protected.

More Definitions of Affected People

Affected People means those who stand to lose, as a consequence of the Project, all or part of their physical and nonphysical assets, including homes, homesteads, productive lands, commercial properties, tenancy, income-earning opportunities, social and cultural activities and relationships, and other losses that may be identified during resettlement planning;

Affected People means people who may be beneficially or adversely affected by a project or program assisted by the World For World Organization (WFWO);

Affected People or “AP" means any person, household or community whose living environment and/or livelihood activities have been or will be adversely affected by the resettlement activities undertaken or proposed to be undertaken for the construction of the Expressways (and related facilities and activities);

Affected People means persons affected by land acquisition, compensation, relocation, resettlement or rehabilitation pursuant to the Project;

Affected People means the persons residing in mining operation affected areas specified in rule 11 ;

Affected People means a person or group of persons who as a result of: (a) the involuntary taking of land under the Project is affected in any of the following ways: (i) relocation or loss of shelter; (ii) loss of assets or access to assets; or (iii) loss of income sources or means of livelihood, whether or not the affected person must move to another location; or (b) the involuntary restriction of access to legally designated parks and protected areas suffers adverse impacts on his or her livelihood; and/or a person or group of persons who is affected by gender based violence.
