Affiliated Physician Group definition

Affiliated Physician Group means the physician group that has agreed to be affiliated and to work collaboratively with the Recipient and includes an “Affiliated Physician” who is a member of the “Affiliated Physician Group”;
Affiliated Physician Group means any physician practice groups, individual physicians or other licensed providers of medical services that, in each case, provide medical services and with which the Company or any Subsidiary is affiliated through a management services agreement, independent contractor agreement or other arrangement with the Company or any Subsidiary, in each case, solely with respect to services provided, or other actions taken, with or on behalf of the Company or any Subsidiary.
Affiliated Physician Group or “AFG” means the unincorporated association of physicians providing family medicine to the community that is affiliated with the Corporation, that is funded by the Ministry of Health or Ontario Health through a funding agreement (such as a physician service agreement) and that is the subject of a governance agreement amongst the physicians;

  • Except as set forth on Section 4.29 of the Company Disclosure Schedule, neither the Company, nor any Subsidiary, nor, to the knowledge of the Company, any Affiliated Physician Group has submitted any claim or billed any federal or state healthcare program or any other third-party payor for services rendered under any Government Contract, excluding any payments received from the respective correctional facilities and jails under the Government Contracts.

  • Neither Parent nor any of the Parent Subsidiaries nor any Parent Affiliated Physician Group is a party to any collective bargaining agreement or other labor union contract applicable to persons employed by Parent or any such Parent Subsidiary or any Parent Affiliated Physician Group, and, to the knowledge of Parent, there are no activities or proceedings of any labor union or any such employees to organize any such employees.

  • All contracts, leases, agreements and arrangements, material to the operation and business of the Company, to which the Company or any of the Company Subsidiaries or any Company Affiliated Physician Group is a party are legally valid and binding in accordance with their terms and in full force and effect.

  • Neither the Company nor any of the Company Subsidiaries nor any Company Affiliated Physician Group is a party to any collective bargaining agreement or other labor union contract applicable to persons employed by the Company or any such Company Subsidiary or any Company Affiliated Physician Group, and, to the knowledge of the Company, there are no activities or proceedings of any labor union or any such employees to organize any such employees.

  • This warranty of materials, equipment and workmanship is separate from, independent of, and in addition to any other guarantees in this Agreement or any other warranties in this Agreement or required by the Project Documents.

  • Parent and each Parent Subsidiary and, to the knowledge of Parent, each Parent Affiliated Physician Group, as applicable, hold all licenses, permits, certificates of need and other regulatory approvals required or necessary to be applied for or obtained in connection with their business as presently conducted or as proposed to be conducted except where the failure to obtain or hold such license, permit, certificate of need or regulatory approval would not have a Material Adverse Effect on Parent.

  • To the knowledge of the Company, no Affiliated Physician Group has received any written or oral communication from a Government Authority that alleges that any Affiliated Physician Group is not in material compliance with any Applicable Law, any Permit or any term or condition under any Government Contract or that informs such Affiliated Physician Group that it is under investigation by a Government Authority.

  • Qualified physician means any physician who has not been excluded under the provisions of subpart I of this part. Except as otherwise provided by regulation, a qualified physician shall be deemed to be designated or ap- proved by OWCP.

  • Bona fide physician-patient relationship means a treatment or counseling relationship between a physician and patient in which all of the following are present:

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Medical physicist means a person trained in evaluating the performance of mammography equipment and facility quality assurance programs and who meets the qualifications for a medical physicist set forth in 41.6(3)“c.”
