Alternate Bid definition

Alternate Bid. (or “Alternate”) means an amount stated in the Bid to be added to or deducted from the amount of the base Bid if the corresponding change in the work, as described in the Bidding Documents, is accepted.
Alternate Bid means an amount stated In the Bid to be added to or deducted from the amount of the Base Bid if the corresponding change in project scope or materials or methods of construction described in the Bidding Documents is accepted.
Alternate Bid means an amount stated in the Bid as set forth in the supplementary bid forms, to be added to or deducted from the Total Base Bid, if the corresponding substitution or change in the Work, materials or other items as described in the Bid Documents, is accepted by Owner.

Alternate Bid means an offer submitted by any person in response to an Invitation for Bid issued by the State that is in essential compliance with the solicitation terms and conditions but which may offer an alternate that does not significantly deviate from the required specifications contained in the solicitation.
