Alternate Service Area definition

Alternate Service Area means the service area(s) covered by health maintenance organizations participating in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association Away From Home Care® Program outside the state of Texas. For the names of those health maintenance organizations and their service areas or for a list of participating Providers in an Alternate Service Area, please contact customer service at the toll- free telephone number located on Your identification card. If You are temporarily residing in an Alternate Service Area, You may obtain Covered Services in the Alternate Service Area as described in this section. For a Subscriber, coverage is available if You are, or will be, residing in the Alternate Service Area at least ninety (90) days, limited to a maximum of one hundred eighty (180) days. For Dependents, including an eligible Dependent who permanently resides outside the Service Area and is subject to a valid medical court order, coverage is available if Dependent is or will be residing in the Alternate Service Area at least ninety (90) days, limited to a maximum of three hundred sixty- five (365) days. Members may renew qualification within the Alternate Service Area by submitting a request for Alternate Service Area access and receiving approval from HMO. This Certificate remains in full force and effect while You are in the Alternate Service Area, and You may avail Yourself of Covered Services under this Certificate by returning to the Service Area. Emergency Care in the Alternate Service Area will be covered in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Certificate. Coverage for services other than Emergency Care in the Alternate Service Area will be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the certificate in the Alternate Service Area (the “Alternate Certificate”) which HMO will provide to You at the time of request for Alternate Service Area access. The terms and conditions of the Alternate Certificate, including the benefits thereunder, may differ from this Certificate and will determine the Covered Services, other than Emergency Care, that You may receive while in the Alternate Service Area. Examples of Alternate Service Area in a sentence

  • Coverage for services other than Emergency Care in the Alternate Service Area will be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the certificate in the Alternate Service Area (the “Alternate Certificate”) which HMO will provide to You at the time of request for Alternate Service Area access.

  • To qualify for coverage in an Alternate Service Area, You must submit a request for Alternate Service Area access prior to relocating in an Alternate Service Area.

Related to Alternate Service Area

  • Service Area means the geographic area approved by the commissioner within which an issuer is authorized to offer a Medicare Select policy.

  • Primary service area means that area within a five (5) mile radius from any imaging center owned, operated or managed by Administrator, Parent or their Affiliates for which the Group provides professional Radiology services or any hospital at which on-site professional Radiology services are then provided by Physician Employee(s) or Physician Extender Employee(s) of the Group.

  • Service Areas means those areas within the Building used for stairs, elevator shafts, flues, vents, stacks, pipe shafts and other vertical penetrations (but shall not include any such areas for the exclusive use of a particular tenant).

  • Special service district means the same as that term is defined in Section 17D-1-102.

  • Commercial Service means water service provided by the water utility that the customer uses in the promotion of a business or business product that is a source of revenue or income to the customer or others using the premises.

  • Data Center(s) means the site or sites at which the Software will be hosted to provide the Authorized Services to Customers. Such site or sites shall at all times be owned or controlled by the Provider.

  • Development Location Point means a single point selected by the Applicant on the proposed Development site that is located within 100 feet of a residential building existing or to be constructed as part of the proposed Development. For a Development which consists of Scattered Sites, this means a single point on the site with the most units that is located within 100 feet of a residential building existing or to be constructed as part of the proposed Development.

  • Data Center means the location where the production instance of the Cloud Service is hosted for the Customer in its region, as published at: xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/corporate-en/about/our- company/policies/data-privacy-and-security/location-of-data-center.html or notified to Customer or otherwise agreed in an Order Form.

  • payment initiation service means a service to initiate a payment order at the request of the payment service user with respect to a payment account held at another payment service provider;

  • Online Service means our on-line system for managing the electronic transmission of information between us and Providers;

  • Custom Local Area Signaling Service Features (CLASS) means certain call-management service features that are currently available from SBC-13STATE’s local networks. These could include: Automatic Call Back; Automatic Recall; Call Trace; Caller Identification and related blocking features; Calling Number Delivery; Customer Originated Trace; Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting; Selective Call Forward; and Selective Call Rejection.

  • Detailed telecommunications billing service means an ancillary service of separately stating information pertaining to individual calls on a customer's billing statement.

  • Directory Assistance Service includes, but is not limited to, making available to callers, upon request, information contained in the Directory Assistance Database. Directory Assistance Service includes, where available, the option to complete the call at the caller's direction. "Directory Listings" or "Listings" are any information identifying the listed names of subscribers of a Telecommunications Carrier or Provider, as applicable, and such subscribers' telephone numbers, addresses, or primary advertising classifications (as such classifications are assigned at the time of the establishment of such service), or any combination of such listed names, numbers, addresses or classifications: (1) that the Telecommunications Carrier and/or Provider provides or uses for the purpose of publishing the Listings in any directory format; or (2) that the Telecommunications Carrier and/or Provider provides or uses in Directory Assistance Service, Directory Assistance List Service, or for other lawful purposes.

  • Residential customer means a customer who consumes gas solely for domestic use.

  • 900 service means an inbound toll telecommunications service purchased by a subscriber that allows the subscriber's customers to call in to the subscriber's prerecorded announcement or live service, and which is typically marketed under the name "900 service" and any subsequent numbers designated by the federal communications commission. "900 service" does not include the charge for collection services provided by the seller of the telecommunications service to the subscriber, or services or products sold by the subscriber to the subscriber's customer.

  • Health service area or “HSA” refers to the distinct geographic regions described in Section 4.1.4 or the Vermont Blueprint for Health Manual.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Conference bridging service means an ancillary service that links two or more participants of an audio or video conference call and may include the provision of a telephone number. Conference bridging service does not include the telecommunications services used to reach the conference bridge.

  • Service Specific Terms has the meaning given in the G Suite Agreement or Complementary Product Agreement, as applicable, or, if Customer’s G Suite Agreement does not define “Service Specific Terms”, means the then-current terms specific to one or more Core Services for G Suite set out at xxxxx://xxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx/terms/service-terms/.

  • Demarcation Point means the point where Qwest owned or controlled facilities cease, and CLEC, End User Customer, premises owner or landlord ownership or control of facilities begin. "Designed, Verified and Assigned Date" or "DVA" means the date on which implementation groups are to report that all documents and materials have been received and are complete.

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

  • Established geographic service area means a geographic area, as approved by the Commissioner and based on the carrier's certificate of authority to transact insurance in this state, within which the carrier is authorized to provide coverage;

  • Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.

  • Distribution center means a building or structure used primarily for the storage of goods which are intended for subsequent shipment to retail outlets. Distribution center does not mean a building or structure used primarily to store raw agricultural products, used primarily by a manufacturer to store goods to be used in the manufacturing process, used primarily for the storage of petroleum products, or used for the retail sale of goods.

  • 800 service means a telecommunications service that:

  • Municipal Service Area means the geographical area within the legal boundaries of the Municipality where the Company has been granted rights hereunder in connection with, among other matters, Natural Gas Distribution Service, as altered from time to time;
