Eligible Dependent definition

Eligible Dependent means a child of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document.
Eligible Dependent means a person who is eligible for coverage under this Agreement according to the terms of the applicable Subscriber Agreement(s), including coverage under COBRA.
Eligible Dependent means an individual who is or becomes eligible to enroll for coverage under this Plan as a Dependent.

Examples of Eligible Dependent in a sentence

  • Eligible Dependent is defined in the “Eligibility for Insurance” section.

  • If an Eligible Employee or Eligible Dependent does not enroll during the initial enrollment period described in Paragraph D.

  • If both parents are covered as insured Employees under the Policy, only one may enroll for life insurance coverage on Eligible Dependent Child(ren).When does Dependent Life Insurance become effective?Provided You:1.

  • If during this eighteen (18) month period a second qualifying event (divorce, legal separation, death, Medicare entitlement, or a dependent child ceasing to be a dependent) takes place, then the original eighteen (18) months of continuation coverage can be extended to thirty-six (36) months from the date of the original qualifying event date for the enrolled Eligible Dependent qualified beneficiaries.

  • If You or Your Spouse are enrolled for Dependent Life Insurance and subsequently acquire a new Eligible Dependent, that Dependent will automatically be covered.Note: No eligible person may be covered more than once under the Policy.


More Definitions of Eligible Dependent

Eligible Dependent means a dependent that qualifies for health care coverage pursuant to paragraph (D) or (E) of this rule.
