Appraisal Programme definition

Appraisal Programme means a programme, carried out following a Discovery in the Contract Area for the purpose of appraising Discovery and delineating the Petroleum Reservoirs to which the Discovery relates in terms of thickness and lateral extent and determining the characteristics thereof and the quantity of recoverable Petroleum therein.
Appraisal Programme means a programme for the conduct of Appraisal Operations.

  • The said Appraisal Programme together with the Work Programme and Budget submitted by the Contractor as revised or modified or amended in light of the Management Committee review and advice, shall be adopted as the Appraisal Programme and the Contractor shall promptly proceed with implementation of the said Programme.

More Definitions of Appraisal Programme

Appraisal Programme means a programme carried out, following a discovery of petroleum for the purpose of delineating the accumulation of petroleum to which the discovery relates in terms of thickness and lateral extent and estimating the quantity of recoverable petroleum therein;
Appraisal Programme means a programme, following a Discovery of Hydrocarbons in the Contract Area, to delineate the Hydrocarbons Reservoir to which that Discovery relates in terms of thickness and lateral extent and to estimate the quantity of recoverable Hydrocarbons therein. Such a programme may include a seismic survey or Appraisal Xxxxx drilled to a depth sufficient to penetrate the Hydrocarbons Reservoir being appraised, or both.
Appraisal Programme means a written plan that establishes a programme for determining the extent and commercial value of a discovery of Petroleum in the Contract Area.
Appraisal Programme means a Work Programme submitted by the Contractor to the Coordination Committee for approval, under which the Contractor will evaluate and delineate a discovery of Petroleum, and which has been approved, or deemed approved, by the Coordination Committee as herein provided. Any Appraisal Programme which has not yet been so approved shall herein be referred to as a Draft Appraisal Programme.
