Authorized to appear definition

Authorized to appear means the attorney is permitted to appear in the proceeding by the rules of the jurisdiction in which the formal legal proceeding is taking place or will be taking place.

  • Authorized By means the same as "authorization" as defined in § 24.2-945.1.

  • Official Sign means a sign required by or erected under any statute or by-law or other directive of any federal, provincial or municipal government or agency thereof or any board or commission and shall include a permanent sign erected on a public road allowance to inform the public of the location of Business Improvement Areas, public buildings, hospitals, public libraries, institutions, places of worship, parks, recreational or educational facilities;

  • instructions for use means the information provided by the manufacturer to inform the user of the device’s intended purpose and proper use and of any precautions to be taken;

  • Managing Director means the Managing Director of the Food Corporation of India.

  • Deputy means any person employed by the department designated as a deputy, who possesses special, technical, scien- tific, managerial or personal abilities or qualities in matters within the jurisdiction of the department, and who may be engaged in the performance of duties under the direction of the secretary, calling for the exercise of such abilities or qualities.

  • Authorized Personnel means the employees of the Licensee and personnel from third parties who work on behalf of the Licensee under a contract (which shall include confidentiality clause) entered into and between the Licensee and the third party.

  • Authorized entity means a nonprofit organization or a governmental agency that has a primary mission to provide specialized services relating to training, education, or adaptive reading or information access needs of blind or other persons with disabilities;
