By Corollary 3.3, the rank of K0(kG) is the number of isomorphism classes of simple k[G/N ]—modules, which by Corollary 12.5 equals the number of 5k—orbits on the conjugacy classes of (G/N )reg, or equivalently, the number of G × 5k—orbits on (G/N )reg as required for part (a).

These factors, as applied to this Action, demonstrate the reasonableness of the requested Service Award to Plaintiff.
