Balancing and Settlement Code definition

Balancing and Settlement Code or “BSC” means the Balancing and Settlement Code maintained pursuant to the NETSO Licence (including any and all subsidiary documents and procedures made under it);
Balancing and Settlement Code means such code as may be developed by the State Load Despatch Centre and approved by the Commission for the balancing of energy accounts and settlement of differences between energy scheduled and actual energy among the users of the grid in the State of Maharashtra;
Balancing and Settlement Code means the code of that name established under the NGET Transmission Licence;

  • Registrant means in relation to a Metering System, the person for the time being registered in CMRS or (as the case may be) SMRS in respect of that Metering System pursuant to Section K of the Balancing and Settlement Code.

Balancing and Settlement Code means the document, as modified from time to time, setting out the electricity balancing and settlement arrangements designated by the Secretary of State and adopted by The National Grid Company plc (Registered No. 2366977) or its successor pursuant to its transmission licence.
