Base Energy Rate definition

Base Energy Rate means the dollars per energy unit for each building and/or each ECM, set forth in this Attachment E, Section (III), and used by ENGIE Services U.S. to calculate the EC Savings.
Base Energy Rate means the Energy rate (expressed in April 2020 Rand terms and Cents per kWh) as specified in Schedule 3;
Base Energy Rate or “BER” has the meaning set forth in Section 4.2(a)(ii). “Base Renewable Energy Credits Rate” or “BRR” has the meaning set forth in Section 4.2(a)(iii).

  • Energy Use Savings will be calculated by Chevron Energy Solutions as the product of (i) the Energy Unit Savings multiplied by (ii) the greater of (a) the applicable Base Energy Rate or (b) the applicable Actual Energy Rate.

  • Annual Energy Use means the annual electricity usage, expressed in kWh, of accounts within a Party’s or Participant’s respective jurisdiction that are served by the Authority; and

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • Energy facility means an energy plant or transmission

  • Renewable energy resources means energy derived from solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectricity. A fuel cell using hydrogen derived from these eligible resources is also an eligible electric generation technology. Fossil and nuclear fuels and their derivatives are not eligible resources.

  • Building Energy Benchmarking means the process of measuring a building’s Energy use, tracking that use over time, and comparing performance to similar buildings.
