Belt conveyor definition

Belt conveyor means a conveying device that trans- ports material from one location to another by means of an endless belt that is carried on a series of idlers and routed around a pulley at each end.
Belt conveyor means an endless belt operating between a drive and a tail-end, with or without bend terminals, and over idler rolls or slider beds that handles bulk materials, packages, or objects placed directly on the belt. See figure 2.
