Blaster in charge means that qualified person in charge of, and responsible for, the loading and firing of a blast.

  • Engineer-in-charge means the officer nominated by the company in the Civil Engineering cadreI discipline who is competent to direct supervisors and authorised to be in charge of the works for the purpose of this contract. The Engineer in Charge IDesignated Officer in Charge who is of an appropriate seniority, will be responsible for supervising and administering the contract, certifying payments due to the contractor, valuing variations to the contract, awarding extension of time and valuing compensation events. The Engineer in Charge IDesignated Officer in Charge may further appoint his representatives i.e. another personIProject Manager or any other competent person and notify to the contractor who is directly responsible for supervising the work being executed at the site, on his behalf under their Delegation of Powers of the company. However, overall responsibility, as far as the contract is concerned ,will be that of the Engineer in ChargeIDesignated Officer in Charge.

  • Engineer-In-Charge (EIC means the Engineer officer authorised to direct, supervise and be In-charge of the works for the purpose of this contract who shall supervise and be in charge of the work.

  • Officer-in-Charge means the officer of the Corporation, not below the level of Deputy Manager, designated by “Competent Authority.” as the case may be, who shall supervise and be in-charge of such works.

  • Member in Charge means the entity specified in the SC to act on their behalf in exercising all the Service Provider' rights and obligations towards the Procuring Entity under this Contract;

  • The Officer-In charge means, the Officer deputed by the respective area HOD to supervise the work or part of the work.

  • Pharmacist-in-charge means a pharmacist currently licensed in good standing who accepts responsibility for the operation of a pharmacy in conformance with all laws and rules pertinent to the practice of pharmacy and the distribution of drugs, and who is personally in full and actual charge of the pharmacy and all personnel.

  • Energy Charge means a charge for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electrical energy;

  • Monthly Charge shall have the meaning set forth in Article 5.

  • Room charge means the charge imposed for the use or occupancy of a room, excluding charges for food, beverages, state use tax, telephone service, or like services paid in connection with the charge, and excluding reimbursement of the assessment imposed by this act.

  • Delivery Charge means the total amount charged to the Authorized User for shipment of the Vehicle(s) from the Delivery Origin to the location(s) designated by the Authorized User on Form A: Mini-Bid Request, and on the Purchase Order.

  • Penalty Charge means a penalty charge which is payable by virtue of paragraph 3(1) and (2) of Schedule 3 to this Act;

  • Connection Charge is the sum payable by the Communications Provider in accordance with the Openreach Price List for provisioning of the Service;

  • Termination Charge means a charge levied when an unamortized balance remains and the Jurisdiction requests termination of Street Lighting Service. The charge is determined by costs of equipment, installation, removal, disposal, Capital Recovery Period, and Utility Financing Cost minus payments made to date for the specific fixtures.

  • Resource Substitution Charge means a charge assessed on Capacity Market Buyers in an Incremental Auction to recover the cost of replacement Capacity Resources.

  • Cancellation Charge has the meaning given to that term in paragraph 5.1 of Part 2; "Core Operational Period" in relation to any part of the Network, means the period of the day when that part is generally open to train movements;

  • Engineer-in-Charge/Consultant/Architect : This term shall mean any authorized representative or person specifically deputed by the Employer wherever they are employed from time to time by the Employer.

  • Person in charge means the individual present at a food establishment who is responsible for the operation at the time of inspection.

  • Transition charge means a nonbypassable rate or charge to be imposed on a customer to pay the customer's share of transition costs.

  • Capacity Charge means a charge for public facilities in existence at the time a charge is imposed or charges for new public facilities to be acquired or constructed in the future that are of proportional benefit to the person or property being charged, including supply or capacity contracts for rights or entitlements, real property interests, and entitlements and other rights of the local agency involving capital expense relating to its use of existing or new public facilities. A “capacity charge” does not include a commodity charge.

  • Engineer-in-charge representative means any officer of the Authority nominated by the Engineer-in-charge for day to day supervision, checking, taking measurement, checking bills, ensuring quality control, inspecting works and other related works for completion of the project.

  • Deed of Charge means the English law deed of charge that may be entered into between the Guarantor and the Representative of the Covered Bondholders (acting on behalf of the Covered Bondholders and the Other Creditors);

  • User charge means a charge imposed on airlines for the provision of airport, air navigation, or aviation security facilities or services including related services and facilities.

  • RUNNING CHARGE PER KILOMETER means the rates payable against each KM run. and shall be deemed to include all the expenditures of the Transport Supplier viz., cost of fuel, tyre/tube, battery & consumables like lubricants etc. and other maintenance expenditures including accessories involved including GST element as applicable towards movement of the vehicle(s)/equipment.

  • Electricity Charges means service charges in respect of the provision of electricity.

  • Hire Charge or “Hire Charges” means the rates and charges payable by You for the hire of the Equipment.

  • transaction charge means any amount charged to a client by a registered firm in respect of a purchase or sale of a security and includes any federal, provincial or territorial sales taxes paid on that amount;
