Bond Ladder definition

Bond Ladder means a portfolio of U.S. Zeroes whose maturities fall within a date range between and including ____________ and ____________, provided that no more than 52% of all such U.S. Zeroes, based on face value, matures either before or after the Maturity Date; and provided further, that if at any time there are three or more issues of U.S. Zero STRIPS available in the market that mature between and including ____________ and ____________ and if the Fund’s assets have not already been required to be invested in the Defeasance Portfolio, the Adviser will narrow the date range hereunder to ____________ and____________ for all future purchases of U.S. Zeros.
Bond Ladder means a portfolio of U.S. Zeroes distributed by face value around each of the Semi-Annual Distribution Payment Dates and the Maturity Date according to the Weighted Face-Value Factor of the Protected Amount Per Share for each such Payment Date. The portfolio of U.S. Zeroes shall be composed of: (1) for the U.S. Zeroes allocated in respect of any Payment Date occurring in June of any year, only those U.S. Zeroes maturing on the _______ immediately prior to such Payment Date; and (2) for the U.S. Zeroes allocated in respect of any Payment Date occurring in December of any year, only those U.S. Zeroes maturing on the _______ immediately prior to such Payment Date. The Bond Ladder shall be constructed in accordance with the methodology included as Exhibit B hereto.
Bond Ladder means a portfolio of U.S. Zeroes the maturities of which fall within a date range between and including __________ and __________ and distributed as follows: (1) if there is one bond issue maturing within the date range, or one bond issue that matures on the Maturity Date, all U.S. Zeroes purchased shall be in that single bond issue; (2) if there are two or more bond issues maturing within the date range—with some bond issues maturing before and some bond issues maturing after the Maturity Date—no more than 52% of U.S. Zeroes purchased (based on face value) may be in bond issues maturing after the Maturity Date and the remainder shall be invested in the bond issues maturing before the Maturity Date; and (3) if there are two or more bond issues maturing within the date range but all such bond issues mature either before or mature after the Maturity Date, all U.S. Zeroes purchased shall be in the bond issue closest to the Maturity Date.
