Borough means the borough of Cheshire West and Chester;
County clerk means the county clerk or the county official in charge of elections.
City means the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
sitting means, in relation to a House, a period during which that House is sitting continuously without adjournment, and includes any period during which the House is in committee;
the City means the City and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporation, acting by and through both its Director of the Office of Contract Administration or the Director’s designated agent, hereinafter referred to as “Purchasing” and [insert name of department].
County office means any officer, department, board, commission, agency, court, or other instrumentality of a county.

Federal Court means the Federal Court of Australia.

Southern means The Southern Company, its successors and assigns.
competent institution means, in relation to Japan, any of the insurance institutions, or any association thereof, responsible for the operation of the Japanese pension systems specified in paragraph 1(a) of Article 2.
Special Court means a Court of Session designated as Special Court under sub-section (1) of section 43;
District Court means the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Cook means an employee who grills food on a salamander, stove, hot plate or barbecue type cooker and shall include preparing, frying or cooking fish or chicken or cooking pizzas.
County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university. Clay means soil material that contains 40 percent or more clay, less than 45 percent sand, and less than 40 percent silt.
Lake means a natural or man-made impoundment of water with more than one acre of water surface area at the high water level.
District shall hereafter refer to districts that have signed the Agreement for the 2022-23 Program year and agree to be financially responsible as a Cooperative member for the Program costs.
National Office means the government authority of a Contracting State entrusted with the granting of patents; references to a “national Office” shall be construed as referring also to any intergovernmental authority which several States have entrusted with the task of granting regional patents, provided that at least one of those States is a Contracting State, and provided that the said States have authorized that authority to assume the obligations and exercise the powers which this Treaty and the Regulations provide for in respect of national Offices;
Village means a village specified by the Governor by public notification to be a village for the purposes of this Part and includes a group of villages so specified.
County Treasurer means the Greenville County Treasurer, or the person holding any successor office of the County.
Road means any highway and any other road to which the public has access, and includes bridges over which a road passes.
Agency Office The office of the Issuing Entity maintained pursuant to Section 3.2 of the Indenture.
State Court means a judicial body of a state that is vested by law with responsibility for adjudicating cases involving abuse, neglect, deprivation, delinquency, or status offenses of individuals who have not attained the age of eighteen (18).
City Clerk means the City Clerk of the City.
Michigan film office means the office created under chapter 2A of the Michigan strategic fund act, 1984 PA 270, MCL 125.2029 to 125.2029g.
