Building Architect definition

Building Architect means “Ai / Xxxxx Xxxxxxx Architectural” and all other architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, design build specialists, and other design professionals retained by Landlord and needed to design the Building Shell, the Site Improvements, Additional Site Improvements, and/or the Demolition, each of whom shall be duly licensed by the State of California and in good professional standing.
Building Architect means the architect designated by the Lessor to monitor the status of the Building and the work of any nature whatsoever which may be carried out in the Building.

  • Except in extraordinary circumstances which would reasonably require an exception, all work to be performed in the Building shall be performed by the Building Contractor on the basis of plans and drawings prepared by the Building Architect.

  • At least five business days prior to the commencement of the Work, the Shareholder shall give written notice, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit “B”, to the Building Architect, the Building Engineer, the Superintendent of the Building, and the Managing Agent.

Building Architect means Grad Associates, PA or other licensed architect or architectural firm selected by the Developer and reasonably approved by the Agency to design the Private Improvements.

Related to Building Architect

  • Architect means the person or other entity engaged by the PHA to perform architectural, engineering, design, and other services related to the work as provided for in the contract. When a PHA uses an engineer to act in this capacity, the terms “architect” and “engineer” shall be synonymous. The Architect shall serve as a technical representative of the Contracting Officer. The Architect’s authority is as set forth elsewhere in this contract.

  • Landscape architect means a person who holds a license to practice landscape architecture in the state of California Business and Professions Code, Section 5615.

  • Project Architect means the architect retained by Lessee to design and supervise construction of the Improvements.

  • Architect/Engineer or “A/E” means the Person identified in the Agreement responsible for providing professional design services and construction contract administration for the Project. The A/E shall be (1) a registered architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, (2) a landscape architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Landscape Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, or (3) a professional engineer or professional surveyor holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4733. As used in the Agreement, the term A/E may include a criteria architect or engineer for a Design-Build project.

  • Building Project means the aggregate combined parcel of land on a portion of which are the improvements of which the Premises form a part, with all the improvements thereon, said improvements being a part of the block and lot for tax purposes which are applicable to the aforesaid land.

  • Building Contractor means the building contractor or developer appointed or to be appointed by the Grant Recipient in respect of a Firm Scheme; Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a statutory Bank Holiday in England;

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth).

  • Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy;

  • Outbuilding means and refer to structures such as (by way of example and not limitation) storage buildings, sheds, greenhouses, gazebos and other Roofed Structures.

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).

  • Construction Consultant means a third-party architect or engineer selected and retained by Funding Lender, at the cost and expense of Borrower, to monitor the progress of construction of the Project and to inspect the Improvements to confirm compliance with this Borrower Loan Agreement.

  • Professional land surveyor means a professional land surveyor licensed under ch. 443.

  • Building construction means any physical activity on the site involved in the erection of a structure, cladding, external finish, formwork, fixture, fitting of service installation and the unloading of plant, machinery, materials or the like.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Tenant’s Work means all improvements, alterations, fixture, equipment, and signage installation, and furniture placement necessary or appropriate for the conduct of the Permitted Use, including all work described as Tenant’s Work on Exhibit D, attached (the “Work Letter”).
