Burial expenses definition

Burial expenses means the following additional expenses associated with purchasing an applicable burial space:
Burial expenses means expenses in connection with the actual burial or other disposition of the remains of the deceased employee.
Burial expenses means a sum, not to exceed six thousand dollars ($6,000) for funeral and burial or cremation, together with the actual ex- penses of transportation of the employee's body to his place of residence within the United States or Canada.

Examples of Burial expenses in a sentence

  • Burial ex-penses paid by the deceased’s employer or a state agency will not be reimbursed.

  • Burial expenses are obtained from the local mortuary affairs office on DD Form 2063, but will be demanded only when the insurance coverage in- cludes such expenses.

Related to Burial expenses

  • Travel Expenses means any costs incurred by Licensor associated with the transportation, storage or lodging of equipment, supplies, Licensor employees and other items necessary for business use from Licensor headquarters to Licensee’s facilities. Travel expenses may include, but are not limited to airfare, hotel costs, and meals if applicable. Any travel expenses paid by the Licensee shall be paid at allowable government travel rates consistent with Management Directive 230.10, unless otherwise first approved by the Licensee’s authorized representative.

  • Direct Costs means the sum of the following:

  • Operating Costs means the incremental expenses incurred by the Recipient on account of Project implementation, management, and monitoring, including for office space rental, utilities, and supplies, bank charges, communications, vehicle operation, maintenance, and insurance, building and equipment maintenance, advertising expenses, travel and supervision, salaries of contractual and temporary staff, but excluding salaries, fees, honoraria, and bonuses of members of the Recipient’s civil service.
