Business Cardmember definition

Business Cardmember refers to the company, partnership, sole proprietorship, professional body or other business entity which has applied for a Card jointly with the Cardholder.
Business Cardmember and “Cardmember” means an individual to whom a Business Card is issued at your request. “Charges” means all amounts charged to an Account, regardless of whether a charge from or other charge authorisation is signed, including purchases of goods and services, cash advances, late payment fees or liquidated damages and any other fees or charges. “Cardmember Agreement” means the agreement between us and the Cardmember governing use of a Card and liability of charges. Credit Limit’ shall mean the limit imposed by Maybank against the Company for the use of the Card.

  • The Business Cardmember and the Cardholder shall be liable for any loss or damage arising from any failure to do so.

  • A Cardholder who is a director of the Business Cardmember or any of its related companies shall not be entitled to withdraw or obtain any loans or cash advances from the Bank or any other banks or merchants through the use of the Card.

  • The Bank’s records (including electronic, computer and microfilm stored records) of all matters relating to the Card, the Card Account and/or of the Business Cardmember and Cardholder and any certificate from the Bank stating the Business Cardmember’s and Cardholder’s liability to the Bank as at any specified date shall be conclusive of their accuracy and authenticity and shall be binding on the Business Cardmember and the Cardholder for all purposes whatsoever.

  • If that Card Account is terminated and another Card Account is established in replacement thereof, the arrangement shall subsist and continue in relation to the Card Account that has replaced the original Card Account as from the date when the first Billing Statement with respect to the replaced Card Account is sent to the Business Cardmember and/or Cardholder.

  • The Cardholder undertakes to only use the Card insofar as he/she is authorised by the Business Cardmember to do so.

  • Any Card reported as lost, stolen or compromised must not be subsequently used, and the Business Cardmember and/or the Cardholder shall cut the Card in halves and return it to the Bank if it comes into the Business Cardmember’s and/or the Cardholder’s possession.

  • The Business Cardmember and the Cardholder submit themselves to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore but in enforcing this Agreement the Bank is at liberty to take actions or proceedings against the Business Cardmember and/or the Cardholder in Singapore or elsewhere as the Bank may deem fit.

  • The Business Cardmember and the Cardholder should therefore read the FATCA Policy together with these Terms and Conditions.

  • Upon any arrangement made between any Business Cardmember and/or Cardholder and any financial institution, any payment may be made to the Bank for the credit of any Card Account, whether at regular intervals or otherwise.

  • All goods and services tax and withholding tax, if any, imposed or payable in respect of any fees, charges or other amounts incurred or debited to the Card Account shall be borne jointly and severally by the Business Cardmember and the Cardholder.
