Use of the Card. 4.1. The Cardholder shall use the Card and operate the Account in a satisfactory manner. The decision as to whether the Card is being so used or the Account is being so operated rests with the Bank and shall be conclusive and binding on the Account Holder/s and on the Cardholder. 4.2. The Bank will bear no responsibility for the refusal of any merchant or establishment to accept the Card for any reason whatsoever. 4.3. Cash withdrawals that are recorded by the ATM, and payments effected by the Cardholder with his Card, shall be debited to his Bank Account. 4.4. Before using his Card, the Cardholder shall ensure that there are sufficient funds on his Account to cover the payment of the Card transactions. Furthermore, the Cardholder will not operate the Account in such a way to exceed the available balance of the Account. 4.5. The fraudulent, incorrect or illegal use of the Card by any person whomsoever shall not relieve the Cardholder of his liabilities to the Bank in respect thereof. 4.6. The Bank shall not be responsible to the Cardholder for any goods or services supplied to the Cardholder by merchants, or to any person to whom the said goods and services have been supplied. Disputes arising from the supply of such goods and services shall be settled directly with the merchants without the Bank being constituted party thereto. The Cardholder shall consequently not be relieved of his obligations to the Bank under the relevant Card transactions. 4.7. The Cardholder shall ensure the correctness of the amounts borne on, and contained in, the envelopes referred to in clause 1.3 of Part III above. The contents of the envelopes shall be checked and certified by two officers of the Bank. The amounts so certified shall be credited to the Account whose number is borne on the envelopes and shall be final and conclusive and not liable to be called in question by the Cardholder or the Account Holder. 4.8. Transactions for POS and ATM withdrawals are subject to the respective daily limits as determined by the Bank from time to time.

Use of the Card. 1. The Cardmember must sign the Card in ink, using a ball point pen, as soon as he or she receives it; the Cardmember must also safeguard the Card and preserve any PIN in extreme secrecy and keep it separate from his or her Card. The Cardmember must not use the Card after the expiration of the validity period embossed on it, and not use the Card after it has been damaged, withdrawn or cancelled. 2. Although the Cardmember has the right to use the Card, the Card shall at all times remain the property of AEME. The Cardmember must surrender the Card immediately upon any request by AEME, any Service Establishment or any other representative of AEME, based on AEME's instructions. A Service Establishment or any other representative of AEME may at its discretion, and after instructions by AEME, withdraw, hold and keep the Card on behalf of AEME. 3. The Cardmember is the only person authorized to use the Card for Transactions including Cash Withdrawals, identification or any other purpose. The Cardmember must not allow any other person to use the Card or the PIN. The Cardmember must safeguard the Card from misuse by retaining the Card under his or her personal control at all times. 4. The Card is issued to the Cardmember solely for the purposes of Transactions and Cash Withdrawals on behalf of the Company. 5. If the Cardmember uses the Card to buy goods or services from a Service Establishment on a frequent or recurring basis (e.g. subscription to periodicals, TV channels, and the like) ("Recurring Charges") or if the Cardmember uses the Card to buy goods or services on installments or on a premium basis (e.g. insurance) the Cardmember authorizes AEME to pay all such Recurring Charges or periodical premiums or installments on his or her behalf at the request of the Service Establishment, and the Company undertakes to repay AEME accordingly. The Cardmember must inform the Service Establishment and AEME in writing if the Cardmember wishes to stop any such periodical payments. AEME shall not be responsible for any breach, cancellation or termination of any legal arrangement or relationship (e.g. insurance policy) resulting from AEME's inability to pay the said Charges because the Cardmember's Account is in overdue status. AEME shall not be liable for any damages of any nature if AEME fails to pay or delays the payment of any Charges, installments or premiums because of any technical failure, error or for any reason beyond AEME's reasonable control. 6. Use of the Card. You may use the Card to obtain legal goods and services from any person or establishment accepting the Card (“Purchase(s)”), and obtain loans (“Cash Advance(s)”) from us up to the applicable limits on your Account and to take advantage of other features of the Card. As used in this Agreement, the term “Purchases” will include Purchases, and the term “Cash Advances” will include; a) Cash Advances, b) Convenience Checks, c) obtaining funds through an automated teller machine (ATM) or a financial institution, d) purchasing a wire transfer, money order, foreign currency, travelers cheques, or stored value load, e) engaging in another similar transaction, or f) Balance Transfers. As used in this Agreement, all amounts charged to an Account, which include Purchases, Cash Advances, the Annual Card fee, if any, or other fees, and any Interest Charges imposed under Agreement, will be called “Charges”. Charges included (but not limited to) any Purchase, Balance Transfer, Cash Advance or Convenience Check in which you have evidenced intent to incur a Charge, regardless of whether you have signed a charge form. You are responsible for paying all amounts charged to the Account by either you or any Additional Cardholders. You agree to notify us at once if the Card or any Convenience Checks we may issue on your Account are lost or stolen, or if you suspect they are being used without your permission. You agree to use the Account only for legal purchases of goods and services. Cards may not be used for gambling purposes, whether on the internet or otherwise. If you do use your Card for illegal purposes or gambling, you will be in default under this Agreement and we may terminate your Account, but you still will be liable to us for all Charges relating to such transactions and all other transactions on your Account. You should not use the Card after the expiration date. If you want to cancel your Account or any Additional Cards, you must contact us and destroy the Card or any Additional Cards. We reserve the right to deny authorization for any requested Charge. All Purchases are affected at the option of the Seller and Cash Advancing Financial Institution and Solvay Bank shall not be responsible for refusal by any Seller or Cash Advancing Financial Institution to honor the Cards or any Related Card. Use of the Card. 5.1 Each Card may be used in respect of the Hong Kong Dollar Card Account at ICBC (Asia) and other financial institutions and merchants (including any Card Transactions within Mainland China which have been converted from Renminbi into Hong Kong Dollars) which accept such Card for effecting purchases of goods and services, drawing of cash advances, payment of a Cardholder's outstanding accounts with any other bank or credit card issuer in Hong Kong other than ICBC (Asia) by way of Balance Transfer and such other credit card facilities or services as ICBC (Asia) may from time to time provide or arrange. 5.2 Each Card may be used in respect of the Renminbi Card Account at specified Mainland China branches of ICBC, and other financial institutions and merchants using a Renminbi clearing system/Unionpay (within Mainland China only) which accept such Card for effecting purchases of goods and services, drawing of cash advances, payment of a Cardholder's outstanding Renminbi account with any other bank or credit card issuer in Mainland China other than ICBC by way of Balance Transfer and such other credit card facilities or services as ICBC may from time to time provide or arrange. 5.3 A Card may also be used to access a Cardholder's bank account with ICBC (Asia), and such Cardholder agrees that such service shall be subject to any relevant terms and conditions of ICBC (Asia) from time to time in effect in addition to the terms and conditions under this Agreement. Each Cardholder is advised to read through such terms and conditions of ICBC (Asia) before proceeding to use such service. 5.4 Each Cardholder shall use a Card, and the Account Holder shall ensure that each Cardholder uses a Card: (a) so that the credit limit for each Card Account (including but not limited to any cash advance limit or limit on Balance Transfer amounts) from time to time notified by ICBC (Asia) (for its own behalf and/or on behalf of ICBC) to the Account Holder as applicable to such Card Account is not exceeded; and (b) within the expiry date embossed on a Card. 5.5 A Cardholder's right to use a Card shall be suspended: (a) if such Card is lost or stolen; or (b) if any Bank is informed by a Cardholder that the PIN is or may be known to any other Person. 5.6 The Account Holder and any Cardholder may request that renewal and/or replacement Cards be issued to each Cardholder following expiry, loss or theft. Use of the Card. 5.1 The cardholder is entitled to use his card for the purposes set out in section 3 above. 5.2 The cardholder undertakes to exercise the utmost care to prevent the card from being lost or stolen. 5.3 Before effecting the withdrawal of any sum, the cardholder must ensure that he/she has sufficient funds standing to the credit of his/ her credit card account or that the transaction is within the credit limit set by SBM. 5.4 The amount withdrawn by the cardholder, such as it is recorded by the ATMs, will be debited to the cardholder’s credit card account. 5.5 Cardholders must ensure that the CHIP on the card is protected at all times from misuse including tampering damage, destruction or any form of unauthorized use and must be kept clean at all times. 5.6 The PIN is essential to effect transactions on ATMs and POS. 5.7 Payments will be evidenced by a sales voucher issued by the merchant. 5.8 In exceptional cases, the cardholder will sign a sales voucher when using the card to purchase. 5.9 The bank will not be liable if a transaction cannot be processed.
Use of the Card. 4.1. The Cardholder may use the Card for cash withdrawal from the Cardholder’s Account at any AEON Credit’s ATMs, other ATMs which display the “Visa” and “PLUS” logos, Visa cash-out at participating merchants or, as a payment card for Point of Sale and “card not present” transactions where the Cardholder may purchase goods or services from merchants and debit the purchase from the Cardholder’s Prepaid Card Account. 4.2. The Cardholder with Express and XPRESS+ Status shall use the Card as a membership status card that facilitates the Cardholder privileges in the participation of the AEON Express Easy Payment at the participating merchants and Personal Financing Schemes.
Use of the Card. 7.1 The Card carries a dual currency feature which grants Cardmember settlement flexibility in both Ringgit Malaysia and Renmimbi (for RMB transaction). The use of the Card shall also be subject to Bank Negara Malaysia Foreign Exchange Administration Rules. 7.2 Subject to clause 7.6, each Card may be used, in respect of the Ringgit Malaysia Card Account, at any branch of the Bank and other financial institutions and merchants (including any Card Transactions within Mainland China which have been converted from Renminbi into Ringgit Malaysia) which accept such Card for effecting purchases of goods and services, drawing of cash advances (up to a maximum of RM5,000 (daily) or such amounts as may be decided by the Bank, payment of a Cardmember's outstanding accounts with any other bank or credit card issuer in Malaysia other than the Bank by way of Balance Transfer and such other credit card facilities or services as the Bank may from time to time provide or arrange. 7.3 Subject to clause 7.6, each Card may be used, in respect of the Renminbi Card Account, at specified Mainland China branches of ICBC, and other financial institutions and merchants using a Renminbi clearing system/UnionPay (within Mainland China only) which accept such Card for effecting purchases of goods and services, drawing of cash advances, payment of a Cardmember's outstanding Renminbi account with any other bank or credit card issuer in Mainland China other than the Bank by way of Balance Transfer and such other credit card facilities or services as the Bank may from time to time provide or arrange. 7.4 Subject to clause 7.6, a Cardmember may obtain cash advances of maximum of RM5,000 (daily) or such amounts as may be decided by the Bank from time to time by the following means:- (a) presenting the Card at any of the Bank’s branches or of any member institution of China UnionPay together with evidence of the Cardmember’s identification and signing the necessary transaction record; or (b) using the Card at any of the Bank’s ATMs or the ATM of any other bank or institution with whom the Bank has an arrangement(s) for the use of the ATMs of the said bank or institution (in which case the amount of each advance will be further subject to the applicable daily withdrawal limit imposed by such other bank or financial institution). Use of the Card. We are not responsible if anyone refuses to honor this Card or any convenience check or for any failure of an ATM to process a cash advance request. If there is a problem with merchandise or services obtained with this Card, you may have the right not to pay the remaining amount due on such merchandise or services. This right does not, however, apply to merchandise or services obtained with convenience checks or with money from a cash advance. Following this Agreement is an explanation of your rights to dispute billing errors. We will have no responsibility for merchandise or services purchased with this Card.
Use of the Card. Code(s) a. You agree that your Account will be debited when you present the Card to a Merchant that accepts the Card as payment and you: i) enter your PIN or sign a paper slip issued by the Merchant; ii) provide your Card number and related Card or Account details by following the Merchant’s instructions for processing your payment, and any other authentication method specified by us from time to time, in the case of online, telephone, mail order purchases, Recurring Charges or through any other device such as telephone boxes and parking permit dispensers; iii) conclude an agreement with a Merchant and you consent to the Merchant charging your Account for an amount that is specified in such agreement; iv) authorise a contactless Charge by passing your Card over a contactless card reader or authorise a Charge requested through digital wallet technology; or v) verbally consent, or confirm your agreement, to all or part of a Charge after the Charge has been submitted. You cannot cancel Charges once you have authorised them, except for Recurring Charges which can be cancelled for the future. Please see the “Recurring Charges” section of this Agreement. b. We may impose and vary limits and restrictions on your use of your Card for contactless or digital wallet technology Charges such as a maximum amount for each Charge, day, statement period or otherwise or a requirement to enter your PIN after a certain number or value of contactless or digital wallet technology Charges. c. To prevent misuse of your Account and the Card, you must ensure that you: i) sign the Card as soon as received; ii) keep the Card secure at all times; iii) regularly check that you still have the Card in your possession; iv) do not let anyone else use the Card;
Use of the Card. 5.1 When you receive the Card, you must sign it in the space provided. 5.2 If you do not want the Card, you must destroy it immediately and notify us in writing. American Express is operated under licence in South Africa by Nedbank Ltd Reg No 1951/000009/06. Authorised financial services and registered credit provider (NCRCP16). 5.3 The Card is valid from the first day of the 'valid from' date on the Card until it expires or until your account is closed. If we allow a Card Transaction after such time, this does not mean that we have extended the validity term of the Card and payment of any amount owing remains your responsibility. 5.4 We will encode the Card with a PIN, which will give you the ability to deposit and withdraw cash and make use of services by means of the Card at compatible electronic devices. 5.5 It is important that your Card and account are not used fraudulently. You must: 5.5.1 take proper care of the Card and your Card number; 5.5.2 ensure that any record of your PIN is kept in a safe place separate from the Card; and 5.5.3 not allow anybody to have knowledge of your PIN. 5.6 If your Card, Card number or PIN is lost, stolen and/or used wrongfully or is used by any person other than you, or you suspect that this has occurred, you must notify us immediately by calling the number provided on your monthly statement. You will be provided with a reference number during your call. You must keep a record of the reference number and must be able to provide it to us when requested to do so. Until you notify us you will be liable for all amounts we pay in such instances. 5.7 You may not use the Card for any unlawful transaction. 5.8 When you use any electronic device, you do so at your own risk and we are not liable for any loss or theft resulting from its use. 5.9 When making withdrawals outside South Africa, the daily withdrawal limit may be different to such limit in South Africa. 5.10 You irrevocably authorise us to: 5.10.1 pay for any purchases, services or cash advances in respect of which the Card or the Card number is used and debit the amount to your Card Account; and 5.10.2 make the necessary entries to do the above and to reverse these entries when appropriate. 5.11 We will not be liable to you if any merchant does not accept the Card or your Card number or if we refuse to authorise any Card Transaction. 5.12 No merchant is our agent.
