Sub-Division means a sub-division of a district;
Annual Division of Revenue Act means the Act of Parliament, which must be enacted annually in terms of section 214 (1) of the Constitution;
Ephemeral stream means a feature that carries only stormwater in direct response to precipitation with water flowing only during and shortly after large precipitation events. An ephemeral stream may or may not have a well-defined channel, the aquatic bed is always above the water table, and stormwater runoff is the primary source of water. An ephemeral stream typically lacks the biological, hydrological, and physical characteristics commonly associated with the continuous or intermittent conveyance of water.
General Provisions means those portions of the Subscription Agreement headed “General Provisions” and contained on pages 7 to 12;
Request for Qualifications means all materials and
Promotion of Access to Information Act ’ means the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000);
Place of public assembly means a building used for social gatherings, religious purposes or indoor recreation by 50 or more persons;
Municipal Structures Act means the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act, 1998 (Act No. 117 of 1998);
Public area means any portion of a state or municipal building that is open to and accessible by the public or which is otherwise designated as a public area by the governing body or the chief administrative officer, if no governing body exists, of such building.
Serialization within the enterprise identifier means each item produced is assigned a serial number that is unique among all the tangible items produced by the enterprise and is never used again. The enterprise is responsible for ensuring unique serialization within the enterprise identifier.
Public Areas means (1) public parks, playgrounds, trails, paths and other recreational areas; (2) other public open spaces; (3) scenic and historic sites; and (4) sites for schools and other public buildings and structures.
Place of public worship means property used primarily for the purposes of congregation, excluding a structure that is primarily used for educational instruction in which secular or religious education is the primary instructive medium: Provided that the property is-
Request For Qualifications (RFQ means the written solicitation, including all Addenda thereto, issued by the Department seeking SOQs in order to identify and Short-List the Proposers to receive the RFP for the Project.
Single-service articles means cups, containers, lids, closures, plates, knives, forks, spoons, stirrers, paddles, straws, napkins, wrapping materials, toothpicks, and similar articles intended for one-time, one-person use and then discarded.
Planning and service area or “PSA” means a geographic area of the state that is designated by the commission for purposes of planning, development, delivery and overall administration of services under a multiyear area plan. “PSA” may be interpreted as either singular or plural dependent on context. “Provider” means any person, company, firm, association or other legal entity that provides services
Acquisition and Construction Fund means the fund so designated in, and created pursuant to, Section 502 hereof.
Sexual Exploitation and Abuse “(SEA)” means the following:
Trading and Settlement Code means the Trading and Settlement Codedeveloped pursuant to Section 9(1)(d) of the Act as from time to time, revised, amended, supplemented or replaced with the approval or at the instance of the Commission;
Minimum Qualifications means the requirements of education, training, experience and other basic qualifications for a job.
Local political subdivision means a county, municipal corporation, township, conservancy district, soil and water conservation district, joint recreation district, park district, or other similar park authority.
