CAIR NOx source definition

CAIR NOx source means a source that is subject to the CAIR NOx annual trading program.
CAIR NOx source means a source that includes one or more CAIR NOX units.
CAIR NOx source means, in regard to the CAIR NOx annual trading program, a source that includes one or more CAIR NOx units; in regard to the CAIR NOx ozone season and SO2 trading programs it means a source that is subject to the CAIR NOx annual trading program.

  • If a CAIR NOx source emits nitrogen oxides during any control period in excess of the CAIR NOx emissions limitation, the owners and operators of the CAIR NOx source shall surrender the CAIR NOx allowances required for deduction under 6NYCRR Part 244-6.5(d)(1) and pay any fine, penalty, or assessment or comply with any other remedy imposed, for the same violations, under the Act or applicable State law.
