Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate definition

Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate means for any Interest Period with respect to a Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate Loan:
Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate means, for any Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Loan within a Borrowing and with respect to the related Interest Period therefor, (a) the interest rate per annum (carried out to the fifth decimal place) equal to the rate determined by the Canadian Agent to be the offered rate that appears on the page of the Telerate Screen (or any successor thereto) that displays an average British Bankers Association Interest Settlement Rate (such page currently being page number 3740) for deposits in Canadian Dollars (for delivery on the first day of such Interest Period) with a term equivalent to such Interest Period, determined as of approximately 11:00 a.m. (London time) two Business Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period, or (b) in the event the rate referenced in the preceding subsection (a) does not appear on such page or service or such page or service shall cease to be available, the rate per annum (carried out to the fifth decimal place) equal to the rate determined by the Canadian Agent to be the offered rate on such other page or other service that displays an average British Bankers Association Interest Settlement Rate for deposits in Canadian Dollars (for delivery on the first day of such Interest Period) with a term equivalent to such Interest Period, determined as of approximately 11:00 a.m. (London time) two Business Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period, or (c) in the event the rates referenced in the preceding subsections (a) and (b) are not available, the rate per annum determined by the Canadian Agent as the rate of interest at which deposits in Canadian Dollars (for delivery on the first day of such Interest Period) in same day funds in the approximate amount of the applicable Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Loan and with a term equivalent to such Interest Period would be offered by its London branch to major banks in the London interbank Canadian Dollar market at their request at approximately 4:00 p.m. (London time) two Business Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period.

Examples of Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate in a sentence

  • Each determination by a Lender Party of amounts to be paid under Article III or any other matters which are to be determined hereunder by a Lender Party (such as any US Dollar Eurodollar Rate, Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate, Adjusted US Dollar Eurodollar Rate, Adjusted Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate, Business Day, Interest Period, or Reserve Requirement) shall, in the absence of manifest error, be conclusive and binding.

Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate means, for any Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Loan within a Borrowing and with respect to the related Interest Period therefor, the rate per annum (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the nearest 1/1000 of 1%) appearing on the Dow Jones Market Service (formerly Telerate Access Service) Page 3740 (or any successor page) as the London interbank offered rate for deposits in Canadian Dollars at approximately 11:00 a.m. (London time) two Business Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period for a term comparable to such Interest Period. If for any reason such rate is not available, then such offered rate shall be otherwise independently determined by Canadian Agent from an alternate, substantially similar independent source available to Canadian Agent or shall be calculated by Canadian Agent by a substantially similar methodology as that theretofore used to determine such offered rate on Dow Jones Market Service, in the London interbank eurodollar market for a period of time equal or comparable to the related Interest Period and in an amount equal to or comparable to the principal amount of the eurodollar portion to which such Interest Period relates.

Related to Canadian Dollar Eurodollar Rate

  • Euro-Dollar Rate means a rate of interest determined pursuant to Section 2.07 on the basis of an Adjusted London Interbank Offered Rate.

  • Canadian Dollar Equivalent of any amount which is expressed in United States Dollars means, on any date, the Canadian dollar equivalent of such amount determined by multiplying such amount by the U.S. - Canadian Exchange Rate in effect on such date;

  • Canadian Dollar means the lawful currency of Canada.

  • Swingline Rate means, for any Interest Period, the rate as offered by the Administrative Agent and accepted by the Borrower. The Borrower is under no obligation to accept this rate and the Administrative Agent is under no obligation to provide it.

  • Alternative Currency Daily Rate means, for any day, with respect to any Credit Extension:

  • Adjusted Eurocurrency Rate means, for the Interest Period for any Eurocurrency Borrowing, an interest rate per annum (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the next 1/16 of 1%) equal to (a) the Eurocurrency Rate for such Interest Period multiplied by (b) the Statutory Reserve Rate for such Interest Period.

  • Eurocurrency Revolving Loan means any Revolving Facility Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBO Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II.

  • Eurodollar Rate Margin means the margin over the Eurodollar Rate used in determining the rate of interest of Eurodollar Rate Loans pursuant to subsection 2.2A.

  • Adjusted Eurodollar Rate means for any Interest Period with respect to any Eurodollar Loan, an interest rate per annum (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the next 1/100 of 1.00%) equal to (a) the Eurodollar Rate for such Interest Period multiplied by (b) the Statutory Reserves.

  • Applicable Eurodollar Margin means, as at any date of determination, the rate per annum then applicable to Eurodollar Rate Loans determined in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.15(D)(ii) hereof.

  • Eurocurrency Rate Advance means a Revolving Credit Advance or a Term Loan Advance denominated in Dollars or in an Agreed Currency which bears interest as provided in Section 2.07(b) or a Local Currency Advance which bears interest as provided in Section 2.07(b) and the Local Currency Addendum.
