CANVaS 2.0 means the online software application for the Virginia CANS created in accordance with COV §2.2-5210 to permit local governments to submit data from the mandatory uniform assessment to OCS.
Backsiphonage means the flow of water or other liquids, mixtures or substances into the potable water system from any source other than its intended source, caused by the reduction of pressure in the potable water system.
NZME means all companies in the NZME Group including but not limited to APN Holdings NZ Limited, NZME. Publishing Limited, NZME. Radio Limited, GrabOne Limited and all brands and operating companies controlled by or associated with those entities.
Customers means such brokerage or other customers or investment advisory or other clients of a Recipient, and/or accounts as to which such Recipient provides administrative support services or is a custodian or other fiduciary.
Solicit means (A) requesting that a contribution be made, (B) participating in any fund-raising activities for a candidate committee, exploratory committee, political committee or party committee, including, but not limited to, forwarding tickets to potential contributors, receiving contributions for transmission to any such committee or bundling contributions, (C) serving as chairperson, treasurer or deputy treasurer of any such committee, or (D) establishing a political committee for the sole purpose of soliciting or receiving contributions for any committee. Solicit does not include: (i) making a contribution that is otherwise permitted by Chapter 155 of the Connecticut General Statutes; (ii) informing any person of a position taken by a candidate for public office or a public official, (iii) notifying the person of any activities of, or contact information for, any candidate for public office; or (iv) serving as a member in any party committee or as an officer of such committee that is not otherwise prohibited in this section.
Divert means to use material for any lawful purpose other than disposal in a landfill or transfer facility for disposal
Holocene means the most recent epoch of the Quaternary period, extending from the end of the Pleistocene Epoch to the present.
Cottage Sector Means a single dwelling that does not have a common facility for a multiple number of tenants.
Asynchronous store and forward means the transmission of a patient's medical information from an originating site to the health care provider for telehealth at a distant site without the presence of the patient.
Outdoor advertising means the act or process of notifying, warning, informing, making known or any other act of transferring information in a visible manner and which takes place out of doors;
Guests means the Tenant's licensees, invitees and all others in, on or about the Leased Premises, the Building, the Common Facilities or the Property, either at the Tenant's express or implied request or invitation or for the purpose of soliciting or visiting the Tenant.
LOCKHEED XXXXXX means LOCKHEED XXXXXX CORPORATION, acting through its companies or business units as identified on the face of this Contract. If a subsidiary or affiliate of LOCKHEED XXXXXX CORPORATION is identified on the face of this Contract, then "LOCKHEED XXXXXX" means that subsidiary or affiliate.
MiFID II means Directive 2014/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on markets in financial instruments and amending Directive 2002/92/EC and Directive 2011/61/EU;
Shippers means the party or parties who agrees with Carrier for transportation of Petroleum.
CPD means verifiable continuing professional development, as described in the General Dental Council's publication of April 2000, "Lifelong Learning – Taking Dentistry Forward", and may include attendance at approved postgraduate education courses but does not include any quality improvement activities within the meaning of paragraph 40 of Schedule 1 to the National Health Service (General Dental Services) (Scotland) Regulations 2010 in respect of which he is claiming an allowance in accordance with Determination XI of this Statement;
Harassment, intimidation, or bullying means any gesture, any written, verbal or physical act, or any electronic communication, as defined in N.J.S.A. 18A:37-14, whether it be a single incident or a series of incidents that:
Hazing means committing an act against a student, or coercing a student into committing an act, that creates a substantial risk of harm to a person, in order for the student to be initiated into or affiliated with a student organization, or for any other purpose. PECR means the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (SI 2426/2003).
