Cash Tax Paid definition

Cash Tax Paid is defined as income taxes as reflected on the income statement minus deferred taxes as reflected on the cash flow statement. “Average Invested Capital” is defined as the average of the beginning and ending Invested Capital during the year. “Invested Capital” is defined as capital lease obligations, plus short and long term debt plus total stockholders’ equity minus an amount equal to cash and cash equivalents.
