Cash Value of the Policy definition

Cash Value of the Policy will mean the cash value as illustrated in the table of values shown in the Policy.
Cash Value of the Policy will mean the total of the Policy's share of the elected sub-accounts and the amounts of any assets transferred to the general investment account, as calculated according to the provisions of the Policy.
Cash Value of the Policy will mean the cash value as calculated according to the provisions of the Policy. 3. "Corporation's Interest in the Policy" will be defined in Articles IV and V. 4. "Current Loan Value of the Policy" will mean the Loan Value of the Policy reduced by any outstanding Policy Loan Balance. 5. "Loan Value of the Policy" will mean the amount which with loan interest and Monthly Deductions for the Cost of Insurance, plus any applicable Surrender Charge, will equal the Cash Value of the Policy on the next loan interest due date. 6. "Policy Loan Balance" at any time will mean policy loans outstanding plus interest accrued to date.

Examples of Cash Value of the Policy in a sentence

  • The Cash Value of the Policy at any time cannot be allocated among more than 10 sub-accounts, except with the consent of the Company; and the Fixed Account will be counted in the limit of 10.

  • After the first Policy Anniversary, you may borrow against the Cash Value of the Policy.

  • If no allocation is specified, we will deduct the amount of the partial withdrawal (including any partial withdrawal transaction charge) from the Divisions or the General Account on a pro-rata basis (that is, based on the proportion that the Policy’s Cash Value in each Division or the General Account bears to the unloaned Cash Value of the Policy).

  • The portion of the Cash Value of the Policy in the Guaranteed Interest Account on the surrender date will not be less than the Cash Value in the Guaranteed Interest Account on that anniversary.

  • Thus, the amount of the premium that must be paid to keep the Policy in force depends upon the amount of the monthly deduction and the Net Cash Value of the Policy, which in turn depends upon the investment experience of the Subaccounts of the Variable Account.

  • Upon termination of this Agreement for any reason other than death of the Employee, The Employee shall be eligible to receive from the Corporation benefits equal to the Employee's Vested Interest in the Cash Value of the Policy.

  • The Monthly Deduction will be deducted in the same proportion as the Cash Value of the Policy is in the sub-accounts and the Fixed Account.

  • If the Participant voluntarily ceases his employment at any time within the Change in Control Period he shall be entitled to a payment for the first month of the first Plan Year beginning after the Retirement Date in an amount equal to the Assumed Cash Value of the Policy at the opening of such month.

  • If at any time within the Change in Control Period the Participant's employment is terminated by action on the part of the Company for any reason other than Cause or Disability, he shall be entitled to a payment for the first month of the first Plan Year beginning after the Termination Date in an amount equal to the Assumed Cash Value of the Policy at the opening of such month.

  • If the Insured is living on the Maturity Date (the anniversary of the Policy Date on which the Insured is age 100), the Company will pay the Policy Owner the Cash Value of the Policy, less any outstanding policy loan, amounts payable to an assignee under a collateral assignment of the Policy, or Deduction Amount due and unpaid.

Related to Cash Value of the Policy

  • Value of Bonus means the amount indicated in the Order Form, which is calculated by multiplying the Commitment Value and the Bonus.

  • Cash Value Insurance Contract means an Insurance Contract (other than an indemnity reinsurance contract between two insurance companies) that has a Cash Value greater than $50,000.

  • Fair Market Value Excess With respect to each Mortgage Loan to be purchased pursuant to Section 10.01(a), the excess, if any, of the Fair Market Value Call Price for such Mortgage Loan, over the Par Call Price for such Mortgage Loan. Any Fair Market Value Excess will not become part of the related Group Available Funds, but shall instead be distributed directly to the Holders of the Class A-LR Certificates pursuant to Section 4.02(g).

  • Value of Contract means the sum accepted or the sum calculated in accordance with the prices accepted in Tender and/or the Contract rates as payable to the Contractor for the entire execution and full completion of the work.

  • Market Value per Share means, as of any particular date, the closing price of a Common Share as reported for that date on the New York Stock Exchange or, if the Common Shares are not then listed on the New York Stock Exchange, on any other national securities exchange on which the Common Shares are listed, or if there are no sales on such date, on the next preceding trading day during which a sale occurred. If there is no regular public trading market for the Common Shares, then the Market Value per Share shall be the fair market value as determined in good faith by the Committee. The Committee is authorized to adopt another fair market value pricing method provided such method is stated in the applicable Evidence of Award and is in compliance with the fair market value pricing rules set forth in Section 409A of the Code.

  • Fair Market Value Per Share means as of any date the fair market value of each of the Shares on such date (the "applicable date") as determined by the Option Committee in good faith. The Option Committee is authorized to make its determination as to the fair market value on the following basis: (i) if the Shares are not traded on a securities exchange and are not quoted on the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc.'s Automated Quotation System ("NASDAQ"), but are quoted on the Over The Counter Electronic Bulletin Board operated by NASDAQ, "Fair Market Value per Share" shall be the mean between the average daily bid and average daily asked prices of the Shares on the applicable date, as published on such bulletin board; (ii) if the Shares are not traded on a securities exchange and are quoted on NASDAQ, "Fair Market Value per Share" shall be the closing transaction price of the Shares on the applicable date, as reported on NASDAQ; (iii) if the Shares are traded on a securities exchange, "Fair Market Value per Share" shall be the daily closing price of the Shares, on such securities exchange as of the applicable date; or (iv) if the Shares are traded other than as described in (i), (ii) or (iii) above, or if the Shares are not publicly traded, "Fair Market Value per Share" shall be the value determined by the Option Committee in good faith based upon the fair market value as determined by completely independent and well qualified experts. In the case of Shares described in (i), (ii) or (iii) above, if no prices are reported for the Shares on the applicable date, the "Fair Market Value per Share" shall be the price reported for such Shares on the next preceding date on which there were reported prices.

  • Cash Value means the greater of (i) the amount that the policyholder is entitled to receive upon surrender or termination of the contract (determined without reduction for any surrender charge or policy loan), and (ii) the amount the policyholder can borrow under or with regard to the contract. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the term “Cash Value” does not include an amount payable under an Insurance Contract as: (1) a personal injury or sickness benefit or other benefit providing indemnification of an economic loss incurred upon the occurrence of the event insured against; (2) a refund to the policyholder of a previously paid premium under an Insurance Contract (other than under a life insurance contract) due to policy cancellation or termination, decrease in risk exposure during the effective period of the Insurance Contract, or arising from a redetermination of the premium due to correction of posting or other similar error; or (3) a policyholder dividend based upon the underwriting experience of the contract or group involved.

  • Best Value Duty means the duty imposed on the Authority by Part 1 of the 1999 Act and under which the Authority is under a statutory duty to continuously improve the way its functions are exercised, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness and to the guidance issued from time to time by the Secretary of State, the Audit Commission and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy pursuant to, or in connection with, Part 1 of the 1999 Act.

  • Applicable Market Value has the meaning specified in Section 5.1.

  • Retail value of a prize means:

  • Appraised Current Market Value of any Aircraft means the lower of the average and the median of the three most recent Post-Default Appraisals of such Aircraft.

  • Historical Fair Market Value means the volume weighted average price of the Ordinary Shares during the ten (10) trading day period ending on the trading day prior to the first date on which the Ordinary Shares trade on the applicable exchange or in the applicable market, regular way, without the right to receive such rights. No Ordinary Shares shall be issued at less than their par value.

  • Initial Valuation Date means the Issue Date, provided that if such day is not an Exchange Business Day for a Reference Asset then the Initial Valuation Date for that Reference Asset will be the first succeeding day that is an Exchange Business Day, subject to the occurrence of a Market Disruption Event. See “DESCRIPTION OF THE NOTES – Market Disruption Event” below for further detail.

  • Initial Valuation means, when used with reference to specified Collateral, the Valuation initially performed for the Collateral as of the date on which the Collateral was added to the Collateral Pool. The Initial Valuation for each of the Initial Mortgaged Properties is as set forth in Exhibit A to the Agreement.

  • Initial Value means the net asset value of one unit or share of an investment fund at the beginning of the performance measurement period; and

  • Average Market Value means the simple average of the daily stock prices at close for each trading day during the applicable period beginning or ending on the specified date for which such closing price is reported by the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Stock Exchange or other authoritative source the Committee may determine.

  • Market Capitalization means an amount equal to (i) the total number of issued and outstanding shares of Capital Stock of the IPO Entity on the date of the declaration of the relevant dividend, multiplied by (ii) the arithmetic mean of the closing prices per share of such Capital Stock for the 30 consecutive trading days immediately preceding the date of the declaration of such dividend.

  • Index Start Value means 1,000 index points and represents the Index Closing Value on Index Calculation Day T=0 for the purposes of calculating the index in accordance with C).

  • Value Date means a reference time used by a payment service provider for the calculation of interest on the funds debited from or credited to a payment account;

  • Worst Value means, in respect of a SPS Valuation Date, the lowest Underlying Reference Value for any Underlying Reference in the Basket in respect of such SPS Valuation Date.

  • Total Value means either the fair market value or the actual price paid for a covered animal part or product, whichever is greater.

  • Book Value Per Share is the Bank’s equity capital (excluding FAS 115 and FAS 158 adjustment and Extraordinary Items) at the end of the Plan Year divided by the Plan’s number of Phantom shares of one million three hundred sixty thousand (1,360,000).

  • Prior Period Investments means investments made in a previous evaluation period that are outstanding as of the examination date.

  • Open Market Value means, in relation to a supply of goods or services, or to goods that are imported, the amount (together with the GST chargeable on the supply or the importation) that would be payable for the supply or the goods if the supply or importation were for such a consideration in money as would be payable, for the supply or the importation, by a person standing in no such relationship with any person as would affect that consideration;

  • Current Market Value per Unit at any date means: (A) in the event that neither the Units nor Public Warrants are still trading, the remainder derived from subtracting (x) the exercise price of the Warrants multiplied by the number of shares of Common Stock issuable upon exercise of the Warrants underlying one Unit from (y) (i) the Current Market Price of the Common Stock multiplied by (ii) the number of shares of Common Stock underlying one Unit, which shall include the shares of Common Stock underlying the Warrants included in such Unit; (B) in the event that the Units, Common Stock and Public Warrants are still trading, (i) if the Units are listed on a national securities exchange or quoted on the Nasdaq National Market, Nasdaq SmallCap Market or NASD OTC Bulletin Board (or successor exchange), the last sale price of the Units in the principal trading market for the Units as reported by the exchange, Nasdaq or the NASD, as the case may be, on the last trading day preceding the date in question; or (ii) if the Units are not listed on a national securities exchange or quoted on the Nasdaq National Market, Nasdaq SmallCap Market or the NASD OTC Bulletin Board (or successor exchange), but is traded in the residual over-the-counter market, the closing bid price for Units on the last trading day preceding the date in question for which such quotations are reported by the Pink Sheets, LLC or similar publisher of such quotations; and (C) in the event that the Units are not still trading but the Common Stock and Public Warrants underlying the Units are still trading, the Current Market Price of the Common Stock plus the product of (x) the Current Market Price of the Public Warrants and (y) the number of shares of Common Stock underlying the Warrants included in one Unit. The “Current Market Price” shall mean (i) if the Common Stock (or Public Warrants, as the case may be) is listed on a national securities exchange or quoted on the Nasdaq National Market, Nasdaq SmallCap Market or NASD OTC Bulletin Board (or successor exchange), the last sale price of the Common Stock (or Public Warrants) in the principal trading market for the Common Stock as reported by the exchange, Nasdaq or the NASD, as the case may be, on the last trading day preceding the date in question; (ii) if the Common Stock (or Public Warrants, as the case may be) is not listed on a national securities exchange or quoted on the Nasdaq National Market, Nasdaq SmallCap Market or the NASD OTC Bulletin Board (or successor exchange), but is traded in the residual over-the-counter market, the closing bid price for the Common Stock (or Public Warrants) on the last trading day preceding the date in question for which such quotations are reported by the Pink Sheets, LLC or similar publisher of such quotations; and (iii) if the fair market value of the Common Stock cannot be determined pursuant to clause (i) or (ii) above, such price as the Board of Directors of the Company shall determine, in good faith. In the event the Public Warrants have expired and are no longer exercisable, no “Value” shall be attributed to the Warrants underlying this Purchase Option. Additionally, in the event that this Purchase Option is exercised pursuant to this Section 2.3 and the Public Warrants are still trading, the “Value” shall be reduced by the difference between the Warrant Exercise Price and the exercise price of the Public Warrants multiplied by the number of Warrants underlying the Units included in the portion of this Purchase Option being converted.

  • Fair Market Value means, as of any date, the value of Common Stock determined as follows:
