Catastrophe Deployment definition

Catastrophe Deployment means a deployment involving a natural or man-made event where Citizens receives or anticipates receiving no less than five-hundred (500) claims.
Catastrophe Deployment means a deployment involving a Catastrophic Event.
Catastrophe Deployment means a deployment involving a natural or man-made event where Citizens receives or anticipates receiving no less than 500 claims. "Pre-Catastrophe Deployment" means a Desk Adjuster deployment that Citizens may require when preparing for a potential Catastrophic Event.

Examples of Catastrophe Deployment in a sentence

  • Where provided, the Catastrophe Rate applies to Services performed pursuant to a Catastrophe Deployment.

  • During a Catastrophe Deployment, Vendor may submit requests for compensation as frequently as weekly to expedite payment for the Services accepted by Citizens in the preceding period according to the following tables.

  • If a Catastrophe Deployment request is made by Citizens and such a request is for Adjusters in excess of Vendor’s Committed Adjuster Total, then Vendor will exercise its best efforts to fill the work assignment in excess of the Committed Adjuster Total.

  • For each CAT Field Associate Adjuster or CAT Field Adjuster I deployed pursuant to a Catastrophe Deployment, Citizens will compensate Vendor for seven (7) days at the corresponding daily Catastrophe Rate outlined below, in addition to compensation set forth in Table 1A.

  • For each Adjuster deployed pursuant to a Catastrophe Deployment, Citizens will compensate Vendor at the corresponding daily Catastrophe Rate outlined below for a minimum of seven (7) days, regardless of the length of deployment.

  • In the event of a Catastrophe Deployment, Citizens may require expanded support and Adjusters may be required to provide MCM Adjusting Services for daily and/or catastrophe claims and at substantially increased volumes.

  • CAT Field Task Adjusting Services is primarily intended for Catastrophe Deployment in response to a Catastrophe Event.

  • If an Adjuster is committed as a CAT Desk Adjuster or CAT Team Lead, each as further described in this Exhibit B, then pursuant to a Catastrophe Deployment, the Adjuster may be required to deploy to a Citizens catastrophe response site to perform these Services for up to twelve (12) hours each day, seven (7) days per week.

  • Vendor will be required to provide the requested number of Committed Adjusters to fill the work assignments during a Catastrophe Deployment.

  • For each Adjuster deployed pursuant to a Catastrophe Deployment, Citizens will compensate Vendor for seven (7) days at the corresponding Catastrophe Rate in Table 5 of subsection 4.2. below, (“Initial Deployment Compensation”).

Related to Catastrophe Deployment

  • Catastrophic illness or “injury” means an illness or injury that is expected to incapacitate the employee for an extended period of time, or that incapacitates a member of the employee’s family which incapacity requires the employee to take time off from work for an extended period of time to care for that family member, and taking extended time off work creates a financial hardship for the employee because he or she has exhausted all of his or her sick leave and other paid time off.

  • Catastrophic injury or illness means a life-threatening injury or illness of an employee or a member of an employee's immediate family that totally incapacitates the employee from work, as verified by a licensed physician, and forces the employee to exhaust all leave time earned by that employee, resulting in the loss of compensation from the state for the employee. Conditions that are short-term in nature, including, but not limited to, common illnesses such as influenza and the measles, and common injuries, are not catastrophic. Chronic illnesses or injuries, such as cancer or major surgery, that result in intermittent absences from work and that are long-term in nature and require long recuperation periods may be considered catastrophic.

  • Pandemic means any outbreaks, epidemics or pandemics relating to SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19, or any evolutions, variants or mutations thereof, or any other viruses (including influenza), and the governmental and other responses thereto.

  • Disaster means a sudden emergency occurrence beyond the control of the licensee, whether natural, technological, or man-made, that renders the licensee unable to operate the facility or makes the facility uninhabitable.

  • Natural Disaster means a flood, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, mudslide, tsunami, avalanche, landslide, volcanic eruption, fire, wildfire or blizzard that is due to natural causes.

  • COVID-19 Pandemic means the SARS-Cov2 or COVID-19 pandemic, including any resurgence or evolutions or mutations thereof and/or any related or associated outbreaks, epidemics and/or pandemics.

  • Catastrophic illness or injury means one of the following:

  • disaster management means a continuous and integrated process of planning, organising, coordinating and implementing measures which are necessary or expedient for—

  • Deployment means a period of time extending from six (6) months before a member of the uniformed services' departure from their home station on military orders through six (6) months after return to his or her home station.

  • War means war, whether declared or not, or any warlike activities, including use of military force by any sovereign nation to achieve economic, geographic, nationalistic, political, racial, religious or other ends.

  • Burglary means the unforeseen and unauthorised entry to or exit from the Insured Premises by aggressive and detectable means with the intent to steal Contents there from.

  • Inclement Weather means any weather condition that delays the scheduled arrival or departure of a Common Carrier.

  • Earthquake insurance, if the Leased Property is currently, or at any time in the future, located within a major earthquake disaster area, in amount, and in such form and substance and with such limits and deductibles as are satisfactory to Landlord; and

  • Disaster Recovery Services means the Services embodied in the processes and procedures for restoring the provision of Services following the occurrence of a Disaster, as detailed further in Call Off Schedule 8 (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery);

  • Storm means violent wind (including cyclones and tornadoes), thunderstorms and hail which may be accompanied by rain or snow.

  • Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)
