Certificate Value definition

Certificate Value means the aggregate of payments by a certificate holder on shares evidenced by such certificate, plus dividends credited thereto, less withdrawals thereon.
Certificate Value means an amount determined by the Calculation Agent in accordance with the formula specified as such in the definition of the relevant Series in the applicable Final Terms, less Expenses, provided that the Certificate Value shall not be less than zero. The Certificate Value shall be rounded to the nearest two decimal places in the Settlement Currency, 0.005 being rounded downwards;

Examples of Certificate Value in a sentence

  • The Issuer shall pay or cause to be paid the Certificate Value (if any) for each Security with respect to which a Notice has been delivered to the account specified in the relevant Notice for value on the Settlement Date.

  • In the absence of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on its part, none of the Issuer, the Calculation Agent and any Agent shall have any responsibility for any errors or omissions in the calculation of any Certificate Value.

Certificate Value. The dollar value as of any Valuation Period of all amounts in a Certificate Owner's Account.
