Certification Differential definition

Certification Differential. A three percent (3%) increase on the nurse's 9 base wage rate for all hours worked if the nurse has tested for and 10 passed a nationally recognized nursing certification applicable to their 11 current position. The differential will commence the first (1st) day of the 12 pay period following the date that written evidence of the passing test 13 score is received by the Medical Center HR office. A copy of the 14 certification must be submitted to the Medical Center HR office within 15 the following three (3) months or the differential will be discontinued. It 16 is the nurse’s responsibility to provide evidence of certification 17 renewals to the Medical Center HR office. If evidence is not provided, 18 the differential will be automatically discontinued on date of expiration 19 on file in Human Resources.

A copy of the certification must be submitted to 12 Medical Center GSRMC HR office within the following three (3) months or 13 the differential will be discontinued. It is the nurse’s responsibility to 14 provide evidence of certification renewals to the Medical Center HR office. 15 If evidence is not provided, T the differential will be automatically 16 discontinued on date of expiration on file in Human Resources. at 17 certification lapses.

Examples of Certification Differential in a sentence

  • The Training Certification Differential cannot be compounded with Enhanced, Exceptional, VDQ, or Job Coaching differentials.

  • The National Board for Professional Teaching (NBPTS) Certification Differential shall be computed annually at 3.5% of Column I, Step 1, of the salary schedule on which the qualified Bargaining Unit Member is placed.

  • Nurses approved for, and participating at Level II, III, or IV of the Clinical Ladder Program, or who have been approved and receive payment for a Certification Differential, shall be eligible for 8 hours of paid education leave annually, in addition to those hours to which the nurse might otherwise be entitled pursuant to Article 20, Section E.1.

  • Certification Differential: A nurse who meets the requirements of this section shall receive a $2.25 per hour certification differential.

  • Employees who are receiving the Child Psychiatrist Differential or the Forensic Differential shall not receive compensation for the Board Certification Differential, unless the Board Certification Differential is greater and in which case the employee shall be compensated at the higher amount.

Related to Certification Differential

  • Income Certification means a Tenant Income Certification and a Tenant Income Certification Questionnaire in the form attached as Exhibit B hereto or in such other comparable form as may be provided by the Issuer to the Owner, or as otherwise approved by the Issuer.

  • Certification period means the period for which an individual is certified eligible for a program.

  • Back-Up Certification As defined in Section 6.20(e)(iv).

  • Differential Amount means the Differential Amount as calculated or, respectively, specified by the Calculation Agent pursuant to § 4 of the Special Conditions.

  • Certification Date means the later of the date on which an order granting certification or authorization of a Proceeding against one or more Non-Settling Defendants is issued by a Court and the time to appeal such certification or authorization has expired without any appeal being taken, or if an appeal is taken the date of the final disposition of such appeal.

  • Reference Interest Rate Replacement Adjustment means the first alternative set forth in the order below that can be determined by the Issuer or its designee as of the Reference Interest Rate Replacement Date:

  • Unadjusted Reference Interest Rate Replacement means the Reference Interest Rate Replacement excluding the Reference Interest Rate Replacement Adjustment.

  • Reference Interest Rate Replacement means the first alternative set forth in the order below that can be determined by the Issuer or its designee as of the Reference Interest Rate Replacement Date:

  • Reference Interconnection Offer or “RIO” means a document published by a service provider specifying terms and conditions on which the other service provider may seek interconnection with such service provider;

  • Price Differential Payment Date means, with respect to a Purchased Mortgage Loan, the 5th day of the month following the related Purchase Date and each succeeding 5th day of the month thereafter; provided, that, with respect to such Purchased Mortgage Loan, the final Price Differential Payment Date shall be the related Repurchase Date; and provided, further, that if any such day is not a Business Day, the Price Differential Payment Date shall be the next succeeding Business Day.
