Nationally recognized credit card means any instrument or device, whether known as a credit card, credit plate, charge plate, debit card, or by any other name, issued with or without fee by an issuer for the use of the cardholder in lieu of a check, as defined by 12A Oklahoma Statute § 3-104(f), in obtaining goods, services or anything else of value or for the use of the cardholder in obtaining such goods, services, or anything else of value on credit and which, in either case, is accepted by over one thousand merchants in this state.
