Child Care Certificate definition

Child Care Certificate means a check or other disbursement that is issued by the contractor directly to a parent who may use the certificate only as payment for child care services. Nothing shall preclude the use of the certificate for sectarian child care services if freely chosen by the parent. A child care certificate is assistance to the parent, not assistance to the provider. 45 CFR Section 98.2
Child Care Certificate means a certificate that is issued directly to a child's caretaker which verifies that the caretaker is eligible for subsidized child care services which the caretaker arranges.
Child Care Certificate means a form issued to a parent or caretaker that permits the parentor caretaker to choose a child care provider who has a contract with DSS.

  • Applicable fee amounts must be indicated on the Child Care Certificate provided to each parent.
