child care centre definition

child care centre means a building used for the daily accommodation and care of 6 or more children under 18 years of age in the absence of their parents or guardians;

child care centre means a building or place which is used (whether or not for profit) for the purpose of educating, minding or caring for children (whether or not any of the children are related to the owner or operator), but only if the following conditions are satisfied:
child care centre shall have the same definition as in the Land Use By-law for Halifax Mainland (Edition 199) under “Day Care Facility”.
