Cloudera Open Source Distribution definition

Cloudera Open Source Distribution means the open source code components set forth in the applicable Order Form for a Subscription Period. Cloudera Open Source Distribution does not include the Hortonworks Products (as defined below).

Open Source Code includes software code that is licensed under the GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License, Mozilla License, Common Public License, Apache License, BSD License, Artistic License, or Sun Community Source License.

  • Open Source software used herein shall mean software that is available without charge for use, modifica- tions and distribution and is often licensed under terms that require the user to make the user’s modifications to the Open Source software or any software that the user ‘combines’ with the Open Source software freely available in source code; or c) violate the respective Open Source licenses and related terms and conditions.

  • Open Source Software means any Software that is subject to or licensed, provided or distributed under, any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative as of the date of this Agreement) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation as of the date of this Agreement) or any similar license for “free,” “publicly available” or “open source” Software, including the GNU General Public License, the Lesser GNU General Public License, the Apache License, the BSD License, Mozilla Public License (MPL), and the MIT License.
