Collector arterial definition

Collector arterial means a highway whose function is to collect and distribute traffic from major arterial streets to access streets, or directly to traffic destinations; to serve traffic within a neighborhood; and to serve neighborhood traffic generators such as a small group of stores, an elementary school, church, clubhouse, small hospital, and small apartment area.
Collector arterial means a street or portion thereof designated as such on Exhibit 23.53.015 A.
