COLLECTOR SEWER SYSTEM definition

COLLECTOR SEWER SYSTEM. Means gravity sewers, within a specific area, used to collect sewage from service laterals of individual users and transport said sewerage to trunk sewer facilities. COMBINED TRUNK-COLLECTOR SEWER FACILITIES — Means any sewer facility that is utilized for both trunk system purposes and collector system purposes, that is, any facility that both collects sewage from individual service laterals and also transports sewage from other definable collector systems to treatment facilities. TRUNK SEWER SYSTEM — Means gravity sewers, pumping stations and force mains used for the transportation of sewerage from collection systems, as defined herein, to treatment facilities.
COLLECTOR SEWER SYSTEM means the District or City publicly operated sanitary sewer collection system including piping, pumping, and in-line treatment facilities appurtenant thereto, whose primary purpose is the collection of Wastewater exclusively within the service area of the City or District, as applicable. The District’s Collector Sewer System also includes piping and pumping facilities between the Point of Delivery and the Facility. “Direct Extraordinary Costs” are specific costs incurred by the District on account of acts, omissions, or circumstances attributable to the City, as provided in Schedule 3, for which the City shall be 100% responsible.

  • The net proceeds of insurance against accident to or destruction of the Collector Sewer System shall be used for repairing or rebuilding the damaged or destroyed portions of the Collector Sewer System (to the extent that such repair or rebuilding is determined by the Party to be useful or of continuing value to the Party’s System) and to the extent not so applied, shall be applied as the Party determines.

  • If any useful part of the Collector Sewer System shall be damaged or destroyed, such part shall be restored to use.

  • Allocable O&M Costs attributable to the pipeline system will be determined by calculating that portion of flow of the District’s Collector Sewer System between the Point of Delivery and the Facility compared to the City’s portion of the Average Annual Flow through that portion using agreed-to flow meters for determination of respective flows.

  • Except as otherwise provided herein, the City shall operate and maintain the City Collector Sewer System to deliver Wastewater originating within the City’s Local Service Area to the System at the Point of Delivery.

  • Each Party covenants that it shall at all times maintain such insurance on its Collector Sewer System in such amounts as the Parties shall align upon from time to time in connection with works and properties of like character against accident to, loss of or damage to such works or properties.

  • Throughout the term of this Agreement, the City shall own, operate, repair, and maintain the City Collector Sewer System within the City’s Local Service Area (which will extend into the District’s Local Service Area), including the Wheatland Transmission Main, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, as the same now exist or may hereafter be amended or implemented from time to time.

  • Upon the completion of the construction of the Shared Transmission Main, , pump stations, and associated appurtenances and equipment as necessary and appropriate to deliver Wastewater from the City’s Collector Sewer System to the System at the Point of Delivery, the City shall connect to the System (which shall be the Start Date for the purposes of this Agreement).

  • Sewer System means pipelines or conduits, pumping stations, force mains, vehicles, vessels, conveyances, injection wells, and all other constructions, devices, and appliances appurtenant thereto used for conducting sewage or industrial waste or other wastes to a point of ultimate disposal or disposal to any water of the state. To the extent that they are not subject to section 402 of the federal Water Pollution Control Act, ditches, pipes, and drains that serve only to collect, channel, direct, and convey nonpoint runoff from precipitation are not considered as sewer systems for the purposes of this part of this division.

  • Interconnection Service(s means any Interconnection, Resale Services, 251(c)(3) UNEs, Collocation, functions, facilities, products or services offered under this Agreement.

  • Interconnection Service means the physical and electrical interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System pursuant to the terms of Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and the Interconnection Service Agreement entered into pursuant thereto by Interconnection Customer, the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider. Interconnection Service Agreement:

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7) means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.

  • Electricity Services means the services associated with the provision of electricity to a person, including the exchange of electric energy, making financial arrangements to manage financial risk associated with the pool price, Distribution Access Service, system access service, ancillary services, billing, metering, performing load settlement and any other services specified in regulations made under the Act;

  • Monitoring System means a system established by BNY to fulfill the Responsibilities specified in clauses (d) and (e) of Section 1 of Article III of this Agreement.

  • Municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4 means a conveyance or system of conveyances (including roads with drainage systems, municipal streets, catch basins, curbs, gutters, ditches, man-made channels, or storm drains):

  • Infrastructure means infrastructure serving the County and improved or unimproved real estate and personal property, including machinery and equipment, used in the operation of the Project, within the meaning of Section 4-29-68 of the Code.
