Commercial subdivision definition

Commercial subdivision means any platted territory outside the limits of a municipal corporation and fronting a highway where, for a distance of three hundred feet or more, the frontage is improved with buildings in use for commercial purposes, or where the entire length of the highway is less than three hundred feet long and the frontage is improved with buildings in use for commercial purposes.
Commercial subdivision means any land that is divided, resubdivided or proposed to be divided into two (2) or more lots, parcels, sites, units, plots, or other division of land for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of offer, sale, lease, or development either on the installment plan or upon any and all other plans, terms or conditions. For purposes of clarification, any remaining portion of the original lot from which additional lots were subdivided shall be counted as one (1) lot.
