Residential subdivision definition

Residential subdivision means any platted territory outside the limits of a municipal corporation and fronting a highway, where, for a distance of three hundred feet or more, the frontage is improved with residences or residences and buildings in use for business, or where the entire length of the highway is less than three hundred feet long and the frontage is improved with residences or residences and buildings in use for business.

Residential subdivision means a tract of land divided into five or more lots for the construction of five or more new residential buildings, or the land on which new multiple occupancy buildings are to be constructed, the development of either of which, if required, has been approved by a governmental authority having jurisdiction.
