Pursuant to legislation, the STATE shall upon presentation of a proper and duly signed authorization form, deduct from the salary of each employee in the negotiations unit a sum specified by the employee and not to exceed the limits prescribed by law, for the purpose of contributing to the UNION Committee on Political Education (COPE).
