Examples of Commonwealth Electoral Act in a sentence
On a day appointed as polling day for an election of the House of Representatives for an Electoral Division in the State under the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918, no election, referendum or other poll is to be held under this Act in, or in any part of, that Electoral Division.
In this section and in sections 31A and 31B Australian Electoral Officer means the Australian Electoral Officer for this State provided for by section 20 of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 of the Commonwealth Parliament or any provision amending, or in substitution for, that section.
