Compensating Interest definition

Compensating Interest. As defined in Section 3.24 hereof.
Compensating Interest. For any Distribution Date, the lesser of (a) the amount, if any, by which the Prepayment Interest Shortfall, if any, for such Distribution Date, with respect to all voluntary Principal Prepayments (excluding any payments made upon liquidation of any Mortgage Loan) exceeds all Prepayment Interest Excesses for such Distribution Date, and (b) the aggregate amount of the Servicing Fee actually retained by or paid to the Servicer for such Distribution Date.
Compensating Interest. For any Distribution Date, 0.125% multiplied by one-twelfth multiplied by the aggregate Stated Principal Balance of the Mortgage Loans as of the first day of the prior month.

Examples of Compensating Interest in a sentence

  • The Master Servicer shall not be entitled to any reimbursement of any Compensating Interest Payment.

  • The Master Servicer shall not be responsible for making any Compensating Interest Payments not made by the Servicers.

  • Any Compensating Interest Payments made by the Servicers shall be a component of the Interest Remittance Amount.

Compensating Interest. With respect to any Distribution Date, the least of (a) the aggregate Prepayment Interest Shortfall on the Mortgage Loans for such Distribution Date, (b) the product of (i) 1/12th of 0.20% and (ii) the Pool Scheduled Principal Balance for such Distribution Date and (c) the Available Master Servicing Compensation for such Distribution Date.
