Compost product definition

Compost product means compost that meets applicable compost product quality standards.
Compost product means cured compost that meets applicable compost product quality standards in accordance with rule 3745-27-46 of the Administrative Code. A compost product that is sold, offered for sale at retail or wholesale, used, distributed for use, or given away is not a solid waste when it is for acceptable horticultural, agricultural, or silvicultural practices. In the circumstance where any unwanted compost product is disposed of, the compost product becomes, by definition, a solid waste.
Compost product means the product resulting from the controlled biological decomposition of organic materials that are source separated from the solid waste stream, or which are separated at a centralized facility. “Construction and Demolition Debris or C&D Debris” means discarded materials from the construction, renovation, or demolition of a building or structure, generally considered to be not water soluble and non-hazardous in nature, including but not limited to cardboard, plastic, wood, steel, copper, aluminum, glass, brick, concrete, asphalt material, pipe, gypsum, wallboard, metal scraps and lumber. C&D Debris also includes rocks, soils, tree remains, trees, and other vegetative matter that normally results from land clearing, landscaping and development operations for a construction project.
