Conditions of Appointment definition

Conditions of Appointment means these conditions of appointment and the terms and conditions otherwise provided by law.
Conditions of Appointment means the Conditions of The Western Ontario as amended from time to time by the Board of Governorson the recommendationof Senate. Department shall mean an academic as constituted by the Senate and the Board of Governors. Employer shall mean The Universityof Westem Ontario acting through the Boardof Governors and through any other person not in the BargainingUnit authorized by office or specific delegationto act on the Board's behalf. Facultyshall mean an academic Faculty(with the exception of the Faculty of Graduate Studies)as constituted by the Senate and the Board of Governors. Member of the Bargaining Unit shall mean any member of the Bargaining Unit Parties shall meanthe partiesto this Collective Agreement, viz. The Universityof Western Ontario and The Universityof Western Ontario Faculty Association.

  • Letter of Appointment means the written communication by SAICA to the Contractor recording the acceptance by SAICA of Contractor’s bid subject to the further terms and conditions to be itemized in the contract;

  • Conditions of Approval means condition(s) imposed by the Municipality in the approval of a land development application, including any conditions contained in the annexure(s) and/or plans and/or attachment(s) that form part of the approval and/or are referred to in the approval of the land development application;

  • Provisional appointment means the employment of a person to a vacant position for no more than a six-month period for emergency or in interim conditions. The General Manager may extend a provisional appointment for up to an additional six-month period.

  • General Conditions means the “International Development Association General Conditions for Credits and Grants”, dated July 1, 2005 (as amended through October 15, 2006).

  • Serviced Appointment has the meaning set forth in Section 1.1.

  • Special Conditions of Contract means the pages completed by the Procuring Entity entitled Special Conditions of Contract which constitute Part A of the Special Conditions.

  • Appointment means the appointment of any Seller to act in a Corporate Trust Capacity under any of the Corporate Trust Contracts of the Business.

  • Conditions of Carriage means these conditions of carriage.

  • General Condition means these General Terms and Conditions of Contract.

  • bond waiver means an agreement with a developer for the provision of a form of financial security as a substitute for a bond; "calendar year" means the twelve months ending with 31st December;

  • Probationary appointment means employment for a designated period of time during which the probationer is evaluated as a candidate to be awarded tenure. In the event an academic employee is employed full-time as a temporary academic employee and the next year with a probationary appointment as an academic employee, the consecutive College quarters in which the individual was so employed full-time shall be credited towards tenure consideration.
