Level of Government means the national and county level of government;
Council of governments means a decision-making body in each county composed of membership including the county governing body and the mayors of each municipality in the county.
Unit of government means a city, village, township, charter township, and any duly authorized and established combinations thereof, within or without the county establishing any of the improvements, facilities, or services authorized under this act.
Host Government means a Government with which UNICEF has a programme of development cooperation, and includes a Government of a country in which UNICEF provides humanitarian assistance.
government procurement means the process by which a government obtains the use of or acquires goods or services, or any combination thereof, for governmental purposes and not with a view to commercial sale or resale, or use in the production or supply of goods or services for commercial sale or resale;
Loss of Government property means unintended, unforeseen, or accidental loss, damage, or destruction of Government property that reduces the Government’s expected economic benefits of the property. Loss of Government property does not include purposeful destructive testing, obsolescence, normal wear and tear, or manufacturing defects. Loss of Government property includes, but is not limited to—
Contracting Government means any Government which has deposited an instrument of ratification or has given notice of adherence to this Convention.
Local unit of government means a county, township, city, or village.
Loss Absorption Regulations means, at any time, the laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments of the United Kingdom, the PRA, the United Kingdom resolution authority, the Financial Stability Board and/or of the European Parliament or of the Council of the European Union then in effect in the United Kingdom including, without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, any delegated or implementing acts (such as regulatory technical standards) adopted by the European Commission and any regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments adopted by the PRA and/or the United Kingdom resolution authority from time to time (whether or not such regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards or policies are applied generally or specifically to the Company or to the Regulatory Group).
Developed exclusively with government funds means development was not accomplished exclusively or partially at private expense.
Market Abuse Regulation means the EU Market Abuse Regulation (596/2014).
Data Protection Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 20161 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
Available government assistance means any governmental rental or housing payment benefits available to the individual or any household member.
Government assistance means a grant, loan, or tax increment financing that result in a financial benefit from an agency, commission, instrumentality, or other entity of the District government.
Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, an Indian tribe, or a foreign government, or a person or entity acting under a grant of authority from or contract with such public agency, including the employees or agents of such public agency or its contractors or persons or entities to whom it has granted authority, that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate.
Municipal Government Act means the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c M-26, as amended or replaced from time to time.
Local Government Act means the Local Government Act, R.S.B.C. 2015, Chapter 1, together with all amendments thereto and replacements thereof;
government department means any department of the Government of the United Kingdom;
Market Abuse means any unscrupulous behavior addressed by applicable regulations.
Department of Health and Human Services means the Department of Health and Human Services
Foreign government means any jurisdiction other than the one embraced within the United States, its territories, and its possessions.
Authorized Government Agency means a regulatory body or government agency, with jurisdiction over PJM, the PJM Market, or any entity doing business in the PJM Market, including, but not limited to, the Commission, State Commissions, and state and federal attorneys general.

Government Programs means (i) the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, (ii) the United States Department of Defense Civilian Health Program for Uniformed Services and (iii) other similar foreign or domestic federal, state or local reimbursement or governmental health care programs.
