Contract Research definition

Contract Research means any research undertaken by an individual, company, firm, corporation or institution on behalf of a foreign individual, company, firm, corporation or institution for any consideration;
Contract Research means research and/or development on a contract or fee-for-service basis by ANAPTYSBIO for a THIRD PARTY other than: (i) for SUBLICENSEES of ANAPTYSBIO, (ii) for ANAPTYSBIO PARTNERS, and/or (iii) otherwise in connection with the research, development, manufacture and/or commercialization of an ANAPTYSBIO PROTEIN.
Contract Research means research conducted by the NWU for another person in exchange for compensation;

  • Where a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) or Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) has been delegated to handle set up on behalf of the Sponsor, the contact at the CRO or CTU should be named here.

More Definitions of Contract Research

Contract Research means: Any expense paid or incurred in carrying on a trade or business to any person other than an employee of the taxpayer for the performance on behalf of the taxpayer of: (i) Qualified research as defined in sections 1.41–4 or 1.41– 4A, whichever is applicable, or (ii) Services which, if performed by employees of the taxpayer, would constitute qualified services within the meaning of section 41(b)(2)(B).
