Costs of the Water System definition

Costs of the Water System means all costs of acquiring, constructing, developing, permitting, implementing, expanding, improving, enlarging, bettering, extending, replacing, repairing, maintaining and operating the Water System, including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the costs or property, interests in property, capitalized interest, land, water, water rights, water leases, easements and rights-of-way, damages to land and property, leases, facilities, equipment, machinery, pumps, pipes, tanks, valves, fittings, mechanical devices, office equipment, assets, contract rights, wages and salaries, employee benefits, chemicals, stores, material, supplies, power, supervision, engineering, testing, auditing, franchises, charges, assessments, claims, insurance, engineering, financing, consultants, administrative expenses, auditing expenses, legal expenses and other similar or dissimilar expenses and costs required for the Water System. Costs of the Water System will include reasonable amounts for an operation and maintenance reserve fund, debt service reserve fund, required coverage of debt service, working capital and appropriate and general administrative costs.

Related to Costs of the Water System

  • Costs of the Project means Recipient’s actual costs (including any financing costs properly allocable to the Project) that are (a) reasonable, necessary and directly related to the Project, (b) permitted by generally accepted accounting principles to be Costs of the Project, and (c) are eligible or permitted uses of the Financing Proceeds under applicable state or federal statute and rule.

  • Wastewater Facilities means the structures, equipment, and processes required to collect, carry away, and treat domestic and industrial wastes and dispose of the effluent.

  • Sewer System means pipelines or conduits, pumping stations, force mains, vehicles, vessels, conveyances, injection wells, and all other constructions, devices, and appliances appurtenant thereto used for conducting sewage or industrial waste or other wastes to a point of ultimate disposal or disposal to any water of the state. To the extent that they are not subject to section 402 of the federal Water Pollution Control Act, ditches, pipes, and drains that serve only to collect, channel, direct, and convey nonpoint runoff from precipitation are not considered as sewer systems for the purposes of this part of this division.

  • Stormwater system means constructed and natural features which function together as a system to collect, convey, channel, hold, inhibit, retain, detain, infiltrate, divert, treat, or filter stormwater. “Stormwater system” includes both public and privately owned features.

  • Project Water means water made available for delivery to the contractors by project conservation facilities and the transportation facilities included in the System.

  • Project Costs means the costs of the construction, acquisition or equipping of the Project, as further described in the Project Budget, and such other costs as may be approved in writing by the Department, provided such costs are permitted by the Act.

  • Parking Facilities means parking lots or other off-street areas for the parking of vehicles, including areas below or above the surface of streets.

  • Generating Facilities means Interconnection Customer’s device for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities.

  • Cost of the Work means those costs described in Paragraph 11.2.

  • Catchment Area means the geographical area covered under a Local Homeless Assistance Continuum of Care Plan, as designated and revised as necessary by the State Office on Homelessness, in accordance with Section 420.624, F.S.

  • The Project Site, where applicable, means the place or places named in the SCC.

  • Infrastructure means infrastructure serving the County and improved or unimproved real estate and personal property, including machinery and equipment, used in the operation of the Project, within the meaning of Section 4-29-68 of the Code.
