Employee Benefits definition

Employee Benefits means one or more benefits or services provided to:
Employee Benefits means the provision of any benefit other than pension and retirement benefits provided to spouses of employees or provided to an employee on account of the employee's having a spouse, including but not limited to bereavement leave; disability, life, and other types of insurance; family medical leave; health benefits; membership or membership discounts; moving expenses; vacation; travel benefits; and any other benefits given to employees, provided that it does not include benefits to the extent that the application of the requirements of this chapter to such benefits may be preempted by federal or state law.
Employee Benefits means bereavement leave; disability, life, and other types of insurance; family medical leave; health benefits; membership or membership discounts; moving expenses; pension and retirement benefits; vacation; travel benefits; and any other benefit given to employees. “Employee benefits” shall not include benefits to the extent that the application of the requirements of this chapter to such benefits may be preempted by federal or state.

Examples of Employee Benefits in a sentence

  • If the qualifying employment period as stated on the Tentative Class Schedule is less than six (6) months, the insurance coverage shall continue for the balance of the six-month period and the employee shall pay the employee's share of premiums to the Employee Benefits Department by the first day of each month.

  • If the FTE on file is incorrect, the adjunct faculty member must notify the Employee Benefits Department and provide copies of the revised Tentative Class Schedule showing the correct FTE within ten (10) calendar days after the District mails the original notice to the employee.

Employee Benefits means the perquisites, benefits and service credit for benefits as provided under any and all employee retirement income and welfare benefit policies, plans, programs or arrangements in which Executive is entitled to participate, including without limitation any stock option, performance share, performance unit, stock purchase, stock appreciation, savings, pension, supplemental executive retirement, or other retirement income or welfare benefit, deferred compensation, incentive compensation, group or other life, health, medical/hospital or other insurance (whether funded by actual insurance or self-insured by the Company), disability, salary continuation, expense reimbursement and other employee benefit policies, plans, programs or arrangements that may now exist or any equivalent successor policies, plans, programs or arrangements that may be adopted hereafter by the Company or a Subsidiary.

Employee Benefits means the prerequisites, benefits and service credit for benefits as provided under the plans and programs maintained by the Company, including, but not limited to, plans and programs which are "employee benefit plans" under Section 3 (3) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended, and any amendment or successor, to such plans or programs (whether insured, funded or unfunded).

Employee Benefits means any group health and dental benefit plans; provided, however, that Employee Benefits shall not include contributions made by the Company or its subsidiaries to any retirement plan, pension plan or profit sharing plan for the benefit of the Executive in connection with amounts earned by the Executive.
