Secretariat means the office constituted as per Sub-Clause (1) of Clause 6 of the Scheme.
Council Directive means Council Directive 89/552/EEC of 3 October 1989 on the co-ordination of certain provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the pursuit of television broadcasting activities as amended by Directive 97/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 June 1997 and by Directive 2007/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2007. A simplified and codified version of these Directives was introduced in 2010: the Audiovisual Media Services Directive 2010/13/EU.
Deputy Secretary means the person holding, acting in, or performing the duties of Deputy Secretary of Higher Education and Skills in the Department.
General Secretary means the General Secretary of the Federation.
Councillor means a member of a municipal council;
Secretary-General means the Secretary-General of the Organization.
General Council means the General Council of the University;
Member Secretary means the Member Secretary of the Board;
Cabinet Secretary means the Cabinet Secretary for the time being responsible for matters relating to finance;
Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.
local council means a local council established under the Local Government Act, 2004;
City’s Manager means a manager who at the relevant time carries such designation from the City under, or in accordance with, ARTICLE 5;
Company Secretary means a company secretary as defined in clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (56 of 1980) and who has obtained a certificate of practice under sub-section (1) of section 6 of that Act;
Chief Commissioner means the chief administrative officer of the County, or delegate;
Stormwater management planning agency means a public body authorized by legislation to prepare stormwater management plans.
Mines Manager means the Mining Engineer so designated for Jhamarkotra Rock Phosphate Mines of Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited.
District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.
Council Member means a member of the Council;
Public Works Director means the director of public works, or his or her designee.
Ministry means the Ontario Ministry of the Environment;
College board means the state board for community and
local community means any community of people living or having rights or interests in a distinct geographical area;
Councils means the Council of all partner Ste. Anne Summer Villages.
School Council for a School, means the school council established for the School under the Act.
Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.
Deputy Minister - means the Deputy of a Minister or the Head of a ministry as defined in this agreement;
