The Secretariat. 1. The Parties hereby establish a Secretariat of this Agreement, comprising the competent organs referred to in Annex XVI.
2. All communications to or by a Party shall be sent through the respective competent organs unless otherwise provided for in this Agreement.
The Secretariat. 4.4.1 The Secretariat is a technical-administrative office of the BSCEE.
4.4.2 The BSCEE has a permanent Secretariat.
4.4.3 The Secretariat is located in the premises of one of the BSCEE Member Institutions. The location of the Secretariat is determined upon the results of the BSCEE members’ voting, in accordance with point 4.2.7, for a period of 5 years, with the possibility of re-election.
4.4.4 The BSCEE members in equal parts are responsible for the operational costs of the Secretariat. The Secretariat submits to the acceptance of the Members’ Conference the following:

The Secretariat. 16.1 The Secretariat shall be responsible for the day to day administration of the Association including:
(a) record keeping and financial administration;
(b) internal and external communication including updating the website, issuing press releases and sending notices of meetings;
(c) membership administration; and
(d) the collection of fees.
16.2 The scope of work and fees payable to the Secretariat shall be agreed by the Steering Committee following submission by a relevant third-party entity fulfilling the role of the Secretariat of a services provision proposal agreed by the Steering Committee, subject to the approval of the Signatories of the fees as an item of the budget and any change to the Secretariat as specified in Clause 5.3.
The Secretariat. 1. The ASEAN Secretariat shall serve as the Secretariat to this Agreement.
2. The functions of the Secretariat shall include the following:
a. arrange for and service meetings of the Conference of the Parties and of other bodies established by this Agreement;
b. transmit to the Parties notifications, reports and other information received in accordance with this Agreement;
The Secretariat. 1. The Secretariat shall be composed of the Executive Secretary and such staff serving the Commission. The Executive Secretary and the staff of the Secretariat shall be appointed and governed in accordance with the terms, conditions and procedures laid down in the Administrative Manual, Staff Regulations and Staff Rules of the Organization, as generally applicable to other staff members of the Organization.
2. The Executive Secretary of the Commission shall be appointed by the Director-General with the approval of the Commission, or in the event of appointment between regular sessions of the Commission, with the approval of the Contracting Parties.
3. The Executive Secretary shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the policies and activities of the Commission and shall report thereon to the Commission, according to the terms of reference set out in the Rules of Procedure. The Executive Secretary shall also act as Executive Secretary to other subsidiary bodies established by the Commission, as required.
The Secretariat. 1. There shall be a Secretariat of the WTO (hereinafter referred to as “the Secretariat”) headed by a Director-General.
2. The Ministerial Conference shall appoint the Director-General and adopt regulations setting out the powers, duties, conditions of service and term of office of the Director-General.
3. The Director-General shall appoint the members of the staff of the Secretariat and determine their duties and conditions of service in accordance with regulations adopted by the Ministerial Conference.
4. The responsibilities of the Director-General and of the staff of the Secretariat shall be exclusively international in character. In the discharge of their duties, the Director-General and the staff of the Secretariat shall not seek or accept instructions from any government or any other authority external to the WTO. They shall refrain from any action which might adversely reflect on their position as international officials. The Members of the WTO shall respect the international character of the responsibilities of the Director-General and of the staff of the Secretariat and shall not seek to influence them in the discharge of their duties.
The Secretariat. 1. The Commission shall establish and oversee a Secretariat comprising national Sections.
2. Each Party shall:
(a) establish a permanent office of its Section;
(b) be responsible for (i) the operation and costs of its Section, and

The Secretariat. 10.1 The Secretariat shall be the permanent administrative organ for the Programme and shall assist the Council in the implementation of its functions.
10.2 The Secretariat shall be managed by a Head of Secretariat, appointed pursuant to procedures approved by the Council.
10.3 The Secretariat shall take direction from the Council in the performance of its functions, which include:
(a) conference services for the meetings of the Council and of its subsidiary organs;
(b) administrative services concerning general correspondence, system documentation and promotional materials;
(c) technical services including the preparation of reports as instructed by the Council;
(d) liaison with Ground Segment Providers, User States and international organizations; and
(e) such other services as may be required by the Council for the implementation of this Agreement.
The Secretariat. 1 — The secretariat headed by the director shall com- prise the personnel of the Institute.
2 — Subject to any general directions of the council, the conference and the board, the director shall appoint such other personnel as may be required for the purposes of the Institute on such terms and to perform such duties as the director may determine.
